What is it? People seem to be in a trance. Either they think that what is taking place politically is inevitable, or worse, they are entirely sold out to it. But the people who are thinking it is inevitable are assisting the mechanism which is driving the crisis by not denouncing it and working against it. They are not aware of the cost of complacency, and are accepting it as inevitable. Clearly. But it is nonsense to do so.
And the crisis is not the economy. It is not the market. It is not any of a list of things that the current administration is wanting to make folks believe. It is the 'fix', which the administration is proposing which is the true crisis. It is the administration and its proposals. And the administration is praying upon the panicked concern that people have. Feeding the panic in fact, enlarges the office of the panic mongers. It increases their presence, and appeal, gives them a dominant position, enables them to steam-roll over the truth, and reality. And promising something to to the panicked establishes them; not the panicked, but the ones the panicked are willing to be blindly dependant upon. But get the true picture. It is like establishing an ulcer, or worse yet, a cancer. Deadly!
But that isn't apparent to the blind (blindly stupid) masses. (You are not one, I hope!) They are hopelessly uninformed, evidentially uneducated in the mechanics of necessity. That it is so is evident because they cannot see the cancer for what it is. It is what it is. But, what is that lovely bump, dazzled eyes inquire, as they listen to rhetoric? Do they think the presidency is just pregnant with a big, lovely surprise? "Oh, that explains the bump on your belly! Congratulations!" They don't notice that a pregnant man is questionable. Well think of it like this. Consider the Hollywood horror movies where something scary is inside someone, and the someone is just an incubator. And as such, the someone, 'hatches' a monster. That is the surprise. Get the vision. The monster will destroy all that is within reach if it gets out. And it will multiply. You will be enslaved or consumed. For you are its food supply.
But in fact, you already have been enslaved, yet don't have a clue. You are too busy celebrating. It is so subtle what has happened, for it has been masked by eloquent words, which seem full of promise. But welcome class to today's lecture entitled, "Stimulus 101." Your future has been sold to the devil. You are enslaved to it. You no longer work for yourself, and yours, but for someone else, with no end in sight.
We who trust in the Lord have promise. But at the same time, we have had a relatively good environment in which to worship. Our environment will be treacherous in the near future, though it does not have to be. Remember that you read it.
