I have never been a fan of either men.
I do believe the Warren's invitation and his participation in the inauguration is predictable.
Warren will have an audience of tens of millions and you can expect to see his name with a caption of "the author of 40 days of purpose", which will generate more interest in his feel good religion.
Obama, by his association with Warren, will gain some support from members of the Christian community who may have distanced themselves from him originally.
Obviously Obama isn't going to associate with the nut preacher who may or may not have been his associate/preacher for many years.

The truth of the matter is 2Cr 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
on second thought both these men are in darkness, so they should have great fellowship!

The truth of the matter is that if Rick Warren has any salt, he should decline the swearing in of Obama. As one reads this article he will find Obama admitting he is totally in favor of gay rights. But gay rights people are opposed to the choice of Rick Warren being used in the inauguration of Obama. That however is not the statement that concerns me. It is the one which follows wherein Obama says that "We all have to come together." Not! Not even a little. You just don't get it Obama, neither, I'm afraid, do you Rick Warren. And every time you play along with this guy (like the way people elected him) you prolong the inevitable. He must be stonewalled, not appeased, and we already begin to see how the hold outs, the ones who do not play along because their values contradict those of the leader, who would be worshiped for his sense of greatness, will be singled out for persecution, after they are 'exposed', as opposers. Is the hour of persecution drawing nigh in Babylon?
