I keep trying to think of some way to explain in the most simple terms, why the Republican party’s idea of the country is so valuable. I think of a fat man going to an all-you-can-eat restaurant. Ever seen one of those? There are certain people out there who can eat an entire buffet in a single sitting. Unbelievable! Sometimes restaurants have turned away people like this. Why? It is in their best financial interest. One person such as this can devour for $4.95, what otherwise would bring the restaurant many times that when several smaller appetites eat for the same price each. How can the restaurant owners make any money however, if someone big eats there every day? And do you know what? That fat man represents what government becomes if not held in check. And our forefathers knew this. That is why they designed a government which would be resistant to this unpleasant situation.

So let’s look at the fat man. He eats what ten, twelve, or fourteen others together would ordinarily eat. Therefore he literally takes money out of the pockets of those who labor hard to provide the food. At the same time, people sitting near him may have to do without if the big man cuts into their share. For the buffet may be emptied by reason of his being there. Yea! The jolly big man who laughs and eats, therefore will not be very well liked, for his feats. That is a picture of big government. All of the people serving, and those feasting with him get very little compensation; while the big man bloats himself.

Now, imagine that fat man likes the restaurant so much that he purchases it. If it was not already bad enough, now he can call the shots. Imagine that he determines who will be hired. He may not know who the best choices are, yet he gets to make the decisions. They are not good decisions.

The same is true for the dining room in terms of decisions. Suppose that he will not spend money to decorate it, yet at the same time he raises prices. Moreover, he promises better food, but doesn’t deliver, while he laughs on, and eats. What will happen to the customers. Will they continue make an appearance? Are you beginning to get it?

Well, let’s say this goes extreme. Suppose he hires an armed guard: No, not for the parking lot! Let’s say that he hires one for the kitchen; and let us also suppose that he hires one for the dining room. Now you might think that people would feel more secure with an armed presence, but what would you think of one armed being both in the kitchen, and also dining room? Why would he be needed there, and there as well? Something will be interpreted to be amiss. And in the dining room will people not wonder if the reason for the strong man's presence is because the neighborhood may be questionable? For whatever other conclusion will they be able to come to? So, fear sets in. Now how much business will the man have? And what will he do without any business?

That is why our founding document is set up to discourage big government, and encourage business to flourish. Business is the livelihood of the country. It means that people have something to do, and therefore have something to possess, and they who work for them not only contribute, but are rewarded. Our founding document sets things up so that people are willing to produce. It encourages it. Moreover, it allows for competition so that no one will unfairly gouge another by having him over a barrel: because, if someone average can get the same quality product from another for less, where will he go? And the likely result is that the one who is charging much will adjust his prices so that he will not lose all of his business to another who is willing to settle for less to get the business. Sweet, huh? Well that is not what we get if government is ‘fat’, and desiring to have it all to its own-self - to manage. In such a case as that we get promise without substance, accompanied by more promise, accompanied by minimal substance, accompanied by more promise.

Think about it. Don't vote democrat. They hate the proper American way of prosperity, and at the very least, simple well being which can be had by even those who live simple in this country. This they have in the midst of wolves of the world who resent it, such as Putin, Chavez, and the Cuban menaces to well being. Putin, Chavez, Castor brothers, Bo-mama, Jesus is here! I am Michael David Harrison of the U.S.A. I am not alone.
