I have never heard of Broadman Bible Commentary or Abigales Commentary, but I do like to go to onlne commentaries. If I am really confused about a certain scripture, I find these commentaries open the door to further understanding, and this helps me with more indepth insight and study to find the answers on my own.

I especially like Barne's Notes. Matthew Henry's
Concise and Adam Clarke are quite good as well. I use Bible Study Guide most frequently. There are two commentaries sections showing on the home page. Go to the commentaries section which has Concordances written underneath it, and when you go into Commentaries you will see them listed individually.

Amen! I attend a baptist church, but I don't place my trust in a denomination, I place my trust in Christ, and I hope and pray that He claims me as His own.

I have never heard of Broadman Commentary, however, Matthew Henery Commentaries and Abigales Bible Commentaries I have. But before you go off buying something please check out e-sword.net
I have downloaded this commplete library for free. I do not know what denomination you are but everyone that is born again must recognized the finished work of salvation and the anticipation of the second advent of Christ. Do not deterr from the unadulterated reading of the Holy Bible. The Spirit speaks to us- when we mediate on the word and live for Jesus.

Are any of you familiar with the Broadman bible commentary? It's a 12 volume set from the late 60's to the late 70's. The first printing of Volume 1 is pretty rare because of a big controversy in it's teaching, so it was revised in 1973. I need someone to tell me what they think of this commentary before I buy it.

Thanks

Your brother in Christ,
Chuck
