God defeated satan and threw him to earth. Satan still as access to Heaven, but not to battle God but to accuse the Christians, but the Bible says that Jesus is advocate to defend us.

Back to the OP topic...
Could it be the war in heaven is ongoing?
And in fact, could the physical realm be God's way of dealing with the advent of sin in the spirit realm?

Actually...
Paradise is only in heaven.
It is mistakenly thought to be Abraham's bosom because people think that the Spirit of Jesus was in Abraham's bosom three days and three nights.
The scriptures say his body was in the tomb three days and three nights. But there is no mention his Spirit was in hell / sheol / Abraham's bosom / the lower earthly region for any length of time other than to simply go there (Ephesians 4:9), preach the victory to those in prison there (1 Peter 3:19) and to ascend to heaven taking with him those in the compartment of promise (Ephesians 4:8 and 10).
All within the three hour period before sunset the end of the current day Jesus died on the cross...
Luke 23:43 (KJV)
43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
Luke 23:44-47 (KJV)
44 And it was about the sixth hour {{ 3 PM }}, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.
45 And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.
46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
47 Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.
There are three mentions of the word "paradise" in all scripture.
Luke 23:43 above.
2 Corinthians 12:1-4 (KJV)
1 It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)
4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
And:
Revelation 2:7 (KJV)
7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
And according to Revelation 22:2 and 22:14 the tree of life is in heaven.
We must all be so very careful not to add to the words of God nor to take away from them to seem to solve some sophomoric puzzle we concoct in our feeble little minds. And I sincerely include myself and all mankind in this. The best way to do that is to allow God to speak for himself and what we do not understand at the time will one day be made clear. And if we don't live to see it, we will see it in the afterlife.

Yeah, ![[Wink]](wink.gif) hades is the greak word for the abode of the dead." but the rich man was tormented in hell and the begger was in another chamber called paradise with Abraham.

Hades and Paradise was close enough that the rich man could see Lazarus and Abraham. After Jesus led the the righteous from Paradise to Heaven, Hades enlarged itself. After that when Christians died they went straight to Heaven.

Old Testament saints did not go to Heaven, but to Abraham's Bosom (Paradise) in Hades. No one could go to Heaven before Christ died and redeemed them with His blood. When He died, Christ then redeemed the Old Testament saints. The wicked dead in Hades were not redeemed. There are NO second chances. I don't know if Hell exists now or not, but I do know that people don't go there until after the Great White Throne Judgment.

The people in Hades did not get a second chance. At one time Hades was divided in to two parts, Hades on one side and Paradise on the other. If you study about Lazarus you will see that he was on the Paradise side with Abraham and the rich man on the Hades side. When Jesus died, He went down to Hades and took the keys from the devil. He then took the Paradise side (the righteous) side to Heaven. The rich man did not get another chance.
Now when Christians die they go directly to Heaven, but only sinners go to Hades and there is no second chance. The second chance is a lie from the devil. The Bible says that after we die comes the judgment but no second chance.

Hello,
Thanks for the replies, Please pray to the Lord He will give you discernment. I believe the Lord refer's to binding and rebuking the devil when he attacks..using the sword of the spirit. And for the people that died, how about when Christ went and preached the prisoners in hell? They received a second chance..

That's an interesting piece you posted. I hope you know, though, that some of it isn't Biblical. For example, we don't fight the devil, but we wear the armor of God and the Lord fights him for us. And those who have died don't get another chance for salvation.
And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment (Hebrews 9:27)

My friend you need to discern Spirits. No where in the Bible does it say that once a person dies, he or she can be saved. Once you have died, your chance for salvation is over.
Study God's Word and see for your self.
