I was excited at first. However, I believe that everything that she says will be discovered to be true about an Obama presidency, if it were to happen. This is precisely what I have been expounding on. But, I disagree with her on Sahah Palin, totally. In fact, her comments on Sarah, and President bush indicate that Wolf is paranoid, rather than rational in her concern, though not totally off base.
You see, I have no doubt that President Bush is naive about what he has done in committing to the bail out. It comes from incomplete understanding of how our founding document functions, or peer pressure, more likely. But his thinking may have been clouded by the fact that he is about to leave office and he wanted to 'do' something to repair the problem, lest he be thought of as a wus. I do not think of him so, but I am dismayed that he played into the hands of some who 'are' openly trying to lasso the country, and bring it under socialism. Surely he will look back and realize his mistake.
But Wolf is correct about the hour. We are faced even as I write this, with something as completely ugly as what she describes. To that end I have to say, "You go girl." But get a grip and quit blaming Republicans.
Yet I do blame Republicans for being so far removed from the founding principles, and being blind to the fact that they are being played as patsies, jepordizing our very safety, and embarrasing us before the world. They have some really sober voices out there who are expounding on this, yet they are in their 'bubble'. Where is the creative individual, the person who truly recognizes the looming danger, and what measures will have to be taken to rectify this? Enter Sarah Palin. She has my vote. I do not care for any comments to the contrary, for she is the real thing. But if people are so stupid as to diss her, they will play solidly into the hands of the enemy of America's soul. Let it be known that I value her above any candidate out there, though my opinion of McCain has improved. (And I really like the gear head! You go gal.)
It might be worth noting that the military at home has wondered why they are on alert status. According to some speculation, one consideration is that since Obama was not born stateside, that there will be unrest when his citizenship status is revoked, together with his presidential bid.

Naomi Wolf is not entirely off base. The concern she feels is because the situation is real: very real. Only I feel she has some of her facts wrong.

Amazing! Sound like the beginning of "One World Order" to me and when you think about it what she is saying make so much sense. That bail out plan has a lot of fine print that the American people have been kept in the dark about; even the banks they are helping don't know the whole story behind it.
