Actually, a great place to start is Genesis! Then maybe skip ahead to John. We all need to learn the foundation of God creating the earth, and man's fall. The Fall is integral in understanding why God sent His Son!

The best book of the Bible to start with is John. I have heard Preachers tell new Christians this for years. It is harder when a person gets saved as a adult rather than a child, so hang in there. My husband got saved in his 50's and he often feels like a duck out of water in Bible study. But he has found that in Bible study, the teachers are always glad to answer questions.
Don't give up on studying God's Word. Pray before you read that God will open the eyes of your heart to hear God's Word. All of us whether when we were children or not were new to the Bible once. Start going to Sunday School every Sunday Sunday School is where you learn. Tell your teacher that you are a new believer and need help.

I do read scirptures, but keepin mind, I'm a new beliver ![[Smile]](smile.gif)
I itnedto go back to my old church this next sunday or one after that. Before when I was going, I didnt have much fiath or any thing strong so i didnt pay attentin to sermons but people are nice and its a good place If not there, maybe the one my guy used to go to. I'm also thinkning if it doesnt work out for thre, to try a baptist churhc. I'v heard Babptists areclosest to teaching form teh scriptures, more actcurate, more about god and his message etc.
I havent read in bible yet about mary magdeline. I do it in parts .I erad Genesis and almost all of exodus and some matthew, but not all. I plan to finish Exodus then matthew then probably another Gospel author 9like paul or joh) etc

People's understanding of the Scriptures is so sad it is pitiful.
What is not to understand that if you are really a Christian, you do not do thing that are against the scriptures.
If you do the same things as the world, you will go to the same hell as the world.
Yahweh's Grace that saves changes the nature of a sinner to the Nature of Yeshua.

It's one thing to commit fornication and it's another thing to do it in front of a camera where many chldren and young men get exposed for the first time scarring them mentally and making material available to men that are seeking to escape this type of thing...It's very damaging to people and the society.
I don't think the girl has fully considered the effect her "occupation" has on society.

The truth is, being a republican does not make you a Christian nor does being a democrat making you a non-Christian. Politicans stand for what their parties endorse. There are republicans who have justified to themselves, having an abortion and their are deomocrates they refuse to have one and then justify others having one. Politics is about power. People do many things to get into powerful places. Things that both democrats and republicans would rather the general public don't know about.

If they are glorifying the industry and giving money to it and supporting it that is one thing But, she deserves to be treated as a person, just as mary magdelene did.
As far as other issues, it is sad for Chrsitians to keep supporting him and think he is good and moral. but, we are to live of the world. Now, if he goes to porn aards, buys their videos publically things like that, there's a different story.
