I too believe that Jesus was born in the Fall around or most likely During the Feast of Tabrnacles (Sakkot - sp??). This was the Feast Commanded by God to celebrate when HE dwelled with his Children (the Hebrews). I believe that EVERY Major event that God orchastrates revolves around the Appointed Times HE gave us in the Old Testament. Look at when Jesus died... PASSOVER. HE Is our Passover Lamb. Understanding God's Feasts and High Holy Days can help shed light on a lot of things. Linda (H4HS) did a great post on this a while back.
There is a lot of documentation to support this, but I'd have to go search it out since all my files keep getting destroyed every time this stupid computer crashes

Here's another website saying September 29th. I'm pretty new to bible study, so I'm not sure either way...just reporting what I heard.

Actually, I watch Shepherd's Chapel (Pastor Arnold Murray). They say his real birthday is September 29th. Also, I found a link to another website that documents September 29th as his real birthday too.

well, the bible doesn't tell us everything. A lot can be learned from the gospels, historical roman and jewish documents, etc.
A few unauthorized biographies of the "mysteriously-not-burnt-by-the-Catholics" variety, such as the Infancy Gospels of James and Thomas, relate salacious anecdotes about the prepubescent Jesus — such as using divine powers to blind fellow children who presumed to roughhouse with His Fine Self.
I mean, it's awesome all the info we have access to from these historical documents. They shouldn't be underestimated. But I know whatcha mean. I celebrate jesus every day, but as far as his birthday... i hate christmas time, so March 28th seems to be a better alternative celebratory day for me.

seeing how it is not in the Bible when Jesus was born, I think it is more important that we celebrate His birth, than what day we do. betty

ah betty, but march 28th was the day commonly celebrated as Jesus' birthday. According to Des Pascha Comutus, written in 243 CE, Jesus Christ's birthday was March 28.
It later became the familiar December 25 after Rome changed it in 336.
The more you know...

Amen, Betty.
Love you Jesus. Thanks for humbly coming into this ugly old world in human flesh and loving me enough to die on that cruel cross.

I celebrate Jesus's birth on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. But we should celebrate Jesus every day!
