I have never thought of that until someone else suggested it on this board. The anit-christ will seek to be a carbon copy of Jesus. What better way then be of Jewish heritage. A Jewish pope, would have alot of pull with many people. Interesting for sure.

I'm still pretty sick, so I'm not fully comprehending the implications of this... But it's striking me as something possibly significant. What do you all think? Are there any prophetic implications if this man is elected the next Pope?
Yes, there is prophetic implications of the anti-christ being a Jew. I've always believed the anti-christ would be the last Pope on the earth. What other religion would be so closley aligned with such evil?
Daniel 11:37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
Take note of the his fathers part. That is indicating that he might be a jew. There's other scriptures I think too, but I can't recall them at the moment.

No, I didn't know this! You mean After Constatine (sp?) when the 'official title Pope' was given?
I'll have to check out that website Thanks!
Shalom!
p.s. Yes I do find it strange that Jews would be allowed to practice any other religion (other then Christianity) and still be considered Jewish... Very strange.

You know what is really funny is that a person can be Jewish and be a Buddist, agnostic, atheiest, so on and on, but it really ticks me off that the Jewish people say you cant be Jewish and be a Christian, but you can be Jewish and practice an occult faith or no faith at all.Where is the logic in that?
Just thought i would throw that out there. Randy Wiess has a good book on the subject of the first tweleve Popes who were Jewish. I forgot the title but you could go to his web site and get it. i believe it is called crosstalk. Shalom
