Although it seems likely , we are reminded, that in order for all these events to happen, the antichrist must first be revealed.
Remember we are told that the Holy spirit, or the restrainer will be taken from the world, it will be harder to find the Lord during this period of time. you know the tugging in your hear you get, to know Christ more... to be closer to him? Well that will be gone, and most people will just rely on thier wits and know how.
Revelation tells us that the holy spirit will be given to 144,000 Jewish tribal descendants. Those will be the teachers and the leaders for Christ. not many will believe the old school ways and will blaspheme and turn thier hearts towards God. Then God in all this fury of the world, sets catastrophies upon them... like fires, earthquakes and such. We need to be reminded that it is likely that those who go through this torment will outnumber those who have been taken to be with the Lord in the clouds ( mentioned at the begining of Revelation)
I do believe that Christ is comming soon. ( A day is like a thousand years , and a thousand years is like a day) most likely in our lifetime. So much has happened, and prophesy is being fufilled. ( The Jewish tribes are comming back to Isreal) No other generation has seen such fufillment, and we most likely are living in the end days... we are living in what Jesus describes as birth pangs... the contractions ( wrongs of the world) are comming closer together, and the effects of the labour we greatly feel. "You will hear of wars and rumours of wars... people will be given in marriage" Hmmm He didn't say, man and wife will marry, he said people. OUr generation is showing that anyone can get married, man and man, woman and woman... I suspect that is what Jesus was referning to.
Soooo, we are close, Always look up, and be not packed and ready to go, but prepare your hearts for his return. He is comming to those that are seeking him.
