The beginning of the end is near.
The Golden Report

The first civilian to be killed by Hizbullah shelling into northern Israel over the past three years since Ehud Barak pulled the IDF out of Lebanon and allowed the Iran, Syrian and Lebanon backed Hizbullah to take control of the southern part of Lebanon. Was a 16-year-old boy, Haviv Dadon.

There was only one reason he was targeted and killed by Islamic Arab shelling, he was Jewish. But the UN really can’t do anything about it, after all Syria the Islamic Arab Country that harbors more terrorists organizations than any other. Was appointed as President of the UN Security Counsel, that means this Terrorist State is the UN’s head of the Security Counsel that should make you feel real safe.

Some may not know where this little town Shlomi in northern Israel is. It is north of Haifa and it is also worth noticing that we know Hizbullah is in control of a few thousand rockets that can hit Haifa as well, and we are not sure what they have in the warheads. But have reason to believe it could well be chemical or Biological.

The shelling from Hizbullah has been going on for the past few months, they always say they are shooting at IAF war planes, but more often than not there is none in the sky’s over them, which was the case yesterday and today. Yesterday the IDF fired back at their positions in southern Lebanon with heavy artillery but when they shot and killed this young boy and wounded four others in Shlomi the IAF went after them with war planes. We are not sure if it was Helicopters or F-16 or both. We have also not received any reports as to how much damaged were caused by the Israeli retaliation.

Hizbullah has also been firing missiles and mortars at the IDF’s Astra, Dalia, Gladiola and Hadas positions in the eastern sector causing damage and starting many forest fires.

Connie and I were recently in Metulla and Kiryat Shemona two northern Israeli cities that get shelled on a regular basis by the Hizbullah. We noticed that we were the only ones moving around in the city that day. The one thing that the residents there cannot understand is why the IDF does not go after the Hizbullah terrorists. Most of them blame it on the relationship between Bush and Sharon and feel deserted by their Government.

But it seems that things are at the boiling point once again on our northern borders, and we know that Syria has just up graded their Russian Made 122 T-72 tanks with some 1,500 Russian made Kornet-E anti-tank missiles. Half of the Syrian tanks have been completely upgraded and delivered the rest are being delivered at the rate of 12 per month. The Russians have also put the top of the line gun stabilization and accuracy improvements on these tanks. This news coupled with the intelligence report delivered by Ariel Sharon. He went on to say that Iran would have all the necessary nuclear capabilities by the end of next year and will have the bomb before the end of 2005. But many believe they may already have a nuclear bomb either supplied by Russia, North Korea or China.

In the mean time the PA is not only refusing to disarm Hamas, Islamic Jihad and others in Judea, Samaria and Gaza, they are covering for them while they build up their weaponry, with free access from Egypt. What it looks like from this observer, is that things will get really rough the next go around and that should be in weeks not months. In a Knesset cabinet meeting today our chief of Staff spoke of the problem building right before our eyes and that something must be done and quickly.

Connie Joel and I are doing all we can to keep our eyes on the things of God and His direction in this ministry, not only here in Israel, but to reach out to Jews and bring them home. Possibly we have gotten to comfortable with the "things" we have acquired, things like decent furniture and a nice house to live in. God has even supplied us with another used car, just another thing.

But this is what I heard from God just today, He requires us to place all the "things" in our life on His altar, that is everything we feel important. He may or may not take them or He may take all of them. But they all must be placed on the Altar. God is requiring from all of us that no "thing" come between Him and us. For the day is coming that the "things" we have placed so much importance on will rot before our eyes, and the only thing that will last or ever be important is our relationship with Him. Obedience is the call of God to us all, He has given us a task to bless the Apple of His eye, and we shall not fail, but if we do He has others to do the job, for His Will will be done, with or without you and I. I pray that you understand the importance of the boat, and what God has ordained it to accomplish.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for our son Joel and all the IDF Soldiers, and for all those who came to fight the Islamic enemy. Pray for this Ministry and your part in it. Shalom, jerry golden
