We need to all pray for the peace of Jerusalem-Psalm 122:6
and for wisdom for our President.

Jerusalem, 09.07 2003

Quiet before a Storm?!

"Out of the North calamity shall break forth."
(Jeremiah 1:14)

The time today in Israel seems to be more serious than ever before with the implementation of
the Road Map leading Israel to an abyss in a way worse than the Oslo accords.

Unthinkable and unbelievable a Sharon led government committing Israel to the same blunders
as Rabin and Peres did in Oslo, yet now by a Likud led government that has voiced not to
repeat the same mistakes of Oslo but in fact does worse.

The Syrians will not let Israel get away with it, making peace even if it is only a false and
temporary peace with the Palestinian Arabs, without them getting Israel's full withdrawel from
the Golan Heights. If not - they will be sure to spoil the present peace efforts by allowing
Hizbollah rockets (they have 4000) to rain down upon the cities and Kibbutzim in Northern
Israel. Israel will be made to realize, the hard and bloody way that Syria will not stand idly by
while Israel makes "peace" with the P.A.

What will stop this utter madness - this peace delusion of Sharon's government? Will It be a
blow so devastating both here in Israel as well as in the United States that it will Stop Premier
minister Sharon and President Bush dead in their tracks?

When the father of President George W. Bush came down hard on Israel, after his Persian
Gulfwar, to please the Arabs, he lost as a result the elections for a second term in office. May
the storm that may soon burst at least prevent this young President Bush from going down the
same road of undue pressure on Israel and so too loose his bid for reelection in November
2004.

I truly hope and pray that we do not need to wait for the next U.S presidential elections to see
this lesson enforced. May this, the younger President Bush learn the lesson in time, so that he
can be chosen again to lead his wonderful nation and with her be a channel of blessing to many
nations including Gods Own: Israel!
