The Valley of the Cross.
Not to far from down town Jerusalem there is a valley that for the most part has been undisturbed. It is said to be the valley they cut the tree that Yeshua was crucified on. There sets in this valley a very old Greek Monastery, it’s called the Monastery of the Cross.
But what I find most interesting is above and over looking this valley of the Cross sets the Knesset (Parliament) of Israel where important daily decision are made. I find that very fitting; to have a place of decision made at the place of the Cross. The place where all men must come for the most important decision of their lives at one time or another, for it is written that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Yeshua is Messiah. For there is one decision that every man will have to make, he or she will have to accept Yeshua as Lord or reject Him. Heaven or Hell is in the balance of that decision.
Today Connie and I toured the Jerusalem Museum, the first time I’ve been there in over twenty years, much has been added in the past twenty years, and I’d recommend it to any tour group that come to Israel. On the way home I stopped at the bottom of the Valley of the Cross and took this picture for you. I hope you like it.
Today like every other day in Israel, some were killed and other wounded, Terrorist tried to come into our cities and IDF troops stopped them. Some were arrested and this goes on and on. It is necessary for me to get away from it at times, so I did this today, hope you understand. Tomorrow we have important ministry near Jerusalem, please pray for us. I will try to get to the Wall with all the request as soon as possible.
