This handout photo shows two Visayan warty pigs born Dec. 1, 2002, at the San Diego Zoo. Endemic to the Philippines, and considered one the world's most endangered large mammals, Visayan warty pigs were nearly extinct before they were recently discovered by scientists. The San Diego Zoo recently became the first zoological society to establish a captive-breeding group outside of the Philippines in order to ensure the species' survival.
