Hello Kindgo!
I think that this is a great post and I would like to add your concern to the tread we started on spiritual warfare, because I think there is a focus of discussion that this plays a big part in! This is the kind of reality the church may have some grace to offer!

I believe it's because we are in the last days.
I think it's why there is so much abortion,people drownding there own children, molesting there own children, all kinds of things that if just natural affection had not left out of the heart would not exist. We are truly in an evil day.
Men's heart on evil continually.

Child dies after shooting

Shreveport police stand outside a house in the 500 block of Oriole Lane on Wednesday where they arrested Joan B. Edgar, 61, in the shooting of her daughter and two granddaughters.
An apparent act of family violence left one child dead Wednesday afternoon and the child's sister and mother at LSU Hospital in Shreveport after the child's grandmother allegedly entered their Oriole Lane home and began shooting.
Joan B. Edgar, 61, of the 100 block of Hammerly Drive in Shreveport allegedly entered her daughter's home and shot her daughter and two granddaughters ages 3 and 1, police said.
All three victims were transported by Shreveport Fire Department ambulance to LSU Hospital in Shreveport.
Neighbors in the usually quiet Broadmoor Terrace neighborhood identified the mother as 32-year-old Connie Gerald. Barry Gerald, whose name appears with Connie Gerald's on tax records for the house, was reportedly not at home at the time of the shooting.
Connie Gerald was listed in fair condition late Wednesday at LSU Hospital. The oldest child, a 3-year-old girl, died either en route to LSU Hospital in Shreveport or shortly after arriving at the hospital, Shreveport police spokeswoman Kacee Hargrave said.
Gerald's other daughter, an infant, was in critical condition Wednesday.
Police did not release the names of the children Wednesday.
Officers responded to a call about shots being fired about 2:30 p.m. and arrived on scene just as the shooting ended, Hargrave said. All three victims had been shot in the chest or abdomen, she said. "The shooting had just ceased when officers showed up," Hargrave said.
A neighbor who lives across the street from the Geralds placed the 911 call after Edgar apparently ran from the scene and asked him to call the police.
"She was banging on the door so we opened this door, but she went around to the side," said the man, who asked not to be identified. "She said 'Call 911, there's been a shooting - my daughter and her children.' She was hysterical."
The man said he recognized Edgar as Connie Gerald's mother from her frequent visits to her daughter's home.
Edgar was at the house when police arrived and was immediately taken into custody, Hargrave said. She was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on a charge of first-degree murder.
Police recovered a large-caliber handgun from the home that they believe was used in the shooting, Hargrave said.
"Things like this just don't happen here," neighborhood resident Jett Jones said.
