The drought is expected to sap $2 billion from Queensland's economy this year.
Some farmers this year, are facing their fifth consecutive failed crop because of crippling dry weather.
The increasing likelihood of a complete failure this season will slash Queensland's grain growers income by $400 million.
Rural lobby group Agforce's, Terry Sharp, says that is a problem for every industry in Queensland.
"For a long time a multiplier of five to one is used, that is that for every dollar that the farmer earns it's been five times through the community," he said.
"Either in farm inputs or through living expenses or cattle improvements, so there's potentially a flow on effect there for the Queensland economy of something in the order of $2 billion
