This movie is definitely made from a Catholic point-of-view and is full of Roman Catholicisms.
As to your question about whether or not people will be saved by seeing this movie, my opinion is that people who are almost-Christians, who have some understanding of the theology behind the crucifixion, may be moved by the Spirit to go all the way and turn their lives over to Christ.
But because of the lack of any theology in the movie, I think a non-believer with no biblical knowledge will watch and simply say, "Boy, they really beat that guy up!"
I think there are probably far better tools for evangelism than a Hollywood movie.
