I was thinking about just this thing today. Iwas thinking qbout the gods that people believe that are no GOD and I am so thankful to know that MY GOD is THE GOD ALMIGHTY. How could we have hope in, believe in, trust in anything else?

Recently, I have been reading a lot about the Mormon gods/godhead... do you know that in Mormonism the "father god" is not omnipotent... not either omnipresent...? Do you know that he had a father himself?

I think of the things that can come our way in this life and I cannot even imagine trusting in a god like that!

My God is able to do anything and all things to create all there is and yet to know the number of the haris on my head! There is nothing and I mean nothing that HE can not do! There is no god before HIM and none after HIM; HE has forever been and forever will be. There is no possibility of HIM failing. HIS LOVE, MERCY, MAJESTY, GLORY, JUSTNESS, WISDOM, and POWER, is without end, and without bounds!

Can we even begin to behold it?

Our GOD is an AWESOME GOD!!! Let us give HIM praise and Honour for HE ALONE is worthy!

(Jeremiah 10:12-16)

“Almighty God” means that there is no one or thing or force mightier. If you have ever been given the tiniest inkling of the meaning of what God said to Abraham, “I am God Almighty” (rv)—“El Shaddai,” that moment will stand out in your experience infinitely more than your experience of sanctification or any other experience. One moment’s realisation that Almighty God is your Father through Jesus Christ, and I defy anything to terrify you again for long. If we realise, what these prophets realised, that nothing can happen without God’s permission, we are kept in peace. Worrying is wicked in a Christian. “Let not your heart be troubled.” How dare we be troubled if Almighty God Who made the world and everything in it, is our Father? Why should we ignore God by worshipping what He has made, and then giving way to intellectual infidelity and sceptically doubting if He is wise and good at all? “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him”—God can do what He likes, I know it is all right, let happen what will.
