Ezekial:

6:1 The word of the Lord came to me: 6:2 "Son of man, turn your face toward1 the mountains of Israel and prophecy against them, 6:3 and say: 'Mountains of Israel,2 Hear the word of the Sovereign Lord!3 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to the mountains and the hills, to the ravines and the valleys: I myself am bringing a sword against you, and I will destroy your high places.4 6:4 Your altars will become desolate and your incense altars will be shattered, and I will throw down your dead in front of your idols.5 6:5 I will place the corpses of the people of Israel in front of their idols, and I will scatter your bones around your altars. 6:6 In all the places where you live, the cities will be laid waste and the high places desolated, so that your alters will be laid waste and desolate, your idols will be smashed and demolished, your incense altars broken down, and what you have made wiped out.6 6:7 The slain will fall among you and then you will know that I am the Lord.7

The Armageddon Wall
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mon Nov 4,2002 -- A simple bulge in an ancient wall of Jerusalem’s Old City has some Israelis fretting about Armageddon, because it’s not just any wall. In this case, the old rocks help support an enormous stone platform that holds the Al Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock, among Islam’s most sacred shrines. And when thousands of worshippers flock to the area at the start of the holy month of Ramadan next week, the extra weight could cause the wall to collapse, says prize-winning archeologist Gabriel Barkay. Parts of the compound could then tumble down with it. Barkay’s fears fall short of doomsday, but only just: he imagines many dead worshipers, and perhaps riots around the Middle East. “All you need is a big group to congregate up there for the equilibrium to start shifting,” he says. “It’s a matter of time.”
Israelis and Palestinians have known about decay at the wall for at least a year. But while the bulge is an engineering problem, repairing it is a heated political one. The 2 sides are bickering over not only who has the authority to fix the damage but also what caused it and how serious it is. Then there’s a broader dispute. Where the mosque was built is the site of the 1st and 2nd Jewish Temples destroyed in antiquity. Some Israelis, like Barkay, complain that Muslim religious authorities have been given too much autonomy to run a shrine that is sacred to both sides, which Jews and Christians know as the Temple Mount.

Muslims counter that Israel is quietly encroaching on Al Aqsa. “When you have competing claims to a holy site, as these two sides do,” says Gershom Gorenberg, who wrote a book about the site, “it becomes very difficult to do even simple, mundane things.” Like erecting scaffolding. Adnan Husseini, who directs the Muslim religious trust known as the Waqf, says his engineers have always been in charge of maintenance of the Old City’s peripheral wall, and have repaired similar problems before. The base of the south wall has layers of Herodian stone that were constructed 2,000 years ago. But the upper part, where the bulge has appeared, has been destroyed and rebuilt several times over the centuries, most recently by the Ottomans. Husseini believes Israelis are deliberately exaggerating the severity of the problem to justify their intervention. “Their real agenda is to take over the place,” he says.

Husseini blames natural erosion for swelling in the ancient mortar. But some Israeli authorities believe the damaged area, several yards in diameter, is linked to Palestinian construction. In the late 1990s, the Palestinians put a new floor in a large chamber under the compound known as Solomon’s Stables. Muslims refer to it as the Marwani Mosque, and bulldozed a new entrance. A report drafted by Israel’s Antiquities Authority last year cited the refurbishing as one possible cause of cracks in the stone, and said rainwater might be seeping through the mosque and into the southern wall. Barkay and Israeli archeologists say the Waqf’s construction is also destroying ancient relics, some from the Jewish Temple period. “This is one of the most serious archeological crimes ever committed in this country,” Barkay says.

Last month Israeli and Palestinian authorities finally agreed to let a 3rd party—a Jordanian team of engineers—inspect the wall and take samples back to Amman. A member of that team, Raef Nijem, told NEWSWEEK that the repair work could be done quickly. “The solution is very simple,” he said by phone from Amman, but the 2 sides have to cooperate. Nothing simple about that.

Isaiah 30:12-14!!!!!!!!!
This is the reply of the Holy One of Israel: Because you despise what I tell you and trust instead in oppression and lies, calamity will come upon you suddenly. It will be like a BULGING WALL that burst and falls. In an INSTANT it will COLLAPSE and come CRASHING DOWN.

Could This Be A Prophecy Concerning The Temple Mount???

 -
Also In other translations it says BULGING HIGH WALL

And it also says the Lord God shall not spare

Tell Me What You All Think!!!

Interior Minister Eli Yishai called Tuesday for the cabinet to debate at its next meeting claims that the southern part of the Western Wall is in danger of collapsing, Israel Radio reported.

An urgent letter sent Monday by a citizens' watchdog group to Prime Minister Ariel Sharon warned of "a clear and present danger that the southern part of the Western Wall and the Temple Mount might collapse" as a result of the construction by the Waqf Muslim trust, which supervises the Temple Mount mosque complex.

In the letter, the group - known as the Committee for the Prevention of the Destruction of Antiquities - urged Sharon "to take immediate action to deal with the problem before a disaster occurs."

Adnan Husseini, director of the Waqf, said Tuesday that the bulge in the Western Wall has not grown or shifted for about 30 years and that it is no danger of collapsing.

"This bulge is under our monitoring since the 70s," he said. "It is stable, we don't feel that there is any dangerous situation."

Jerusalem Mayor Ehud Olmert on Tuesday morning called on the government to take immediate action to prevent the "historical and human disaster" that will happen if the southern portion of the Western Wall collapses.

"In my opinion we have reached the moment of truth," Olmert told Israel Radio. "The government of Israel has no alternative but to decide to exercise our natural authority in regard to the Temple Mount."

"We made all kinds of efforts to reach understandings [on the issue], which I cannot fully reveal here because of their sensitive nature both here in Israel and abroad, to pinpoint the reasons [for the movement of the wall] so we can properly address the matter," Olmert added.

Archaeologist Dr. Eilat Mazar, who is a member of the Committee for the Prevention of the Destruction of Antiquities, told Israel Radio on Tuesday morning that "to date no steps have been taken in the matter, which means that nothing can be done to correct the situation." She said the question now is "whether the wall will collapse on thousands of worshippers or if it will happen in a controlled manner."

The movement of the southern part of the Western Wall has been going on for several years, but it peaked during the past year, in the area of the wall that also serves as one of the walls for Solomon's Stables. The Waqf transformed the Stables, the main core of their building, into a mosque which can hold 10,000 worshipers.

The Waqf, the Antiquities Authority, the Israeli government and the Jordanian government were all actively engaged in the southern wall issue, and in an attempt to address the problem, scaffolding was built on the side of the expansion. Secret talks were also held between the Antiquities Authority, the Jordanians and Muslim religious leaders.

Among the signatories to the letter to the prime minister were archeologists Dr. Gabi Barkai and Eilat Mazar; Yaakov Yaniv, a former section chief in the Shin Bet security service and Dr. Orit Zur. In the letter, they told the prime minister that "The expansion of the southern wall has recently increased and the situation has become irreversible over the past six months."

"We are warning you and making you aware that the wall in the area will soon collapse," the letter said. "The danger of a collapse is close and real."

The Western Wall, Judaism's holiest site, is a supporting wall of the Temple Mount that has remained intact since the destruction of the Temple in 70 C.E., and was captured by Israel in the 1967 Six-Day War.
