This bothers me a bit; As many asians are coming to our shores, as are mexicans, what should we do???

Are we not the land of opportunity, the land of the free, What a chance to witness to a whole new group of people.

The situation with Israel is different, there is a problem with encroachment and retaliation on both sides. and neither side likes each other very much.

The comparison is not very good.

Author Says Illegal Aliens in U.S. Akin to Palestinians in Israel

By Chad Groening
August 13, 2002

(AgapePress) - A Christian author believes God has allowed illegal aliens from Mexico to become America's "Palestinians." He traces the illegal alien problem plaguing the U.S. to God's everlasting covenant with Israel.

In Genesis 12:3, God tells the nation of Israel, "I will bless them that bless the, and curse him that curseth thee." In his book Israel: Blessing or Curse, author John McTernan believes the United States is suffering the consequences of God's promise in Genesis 12:3, by forcing Israel to co-exist with its enemies.

"Some huge percentage of Mexicans, like 60 or 70 percent, think the southern United States is theirs. What's happened is [that] we've touched Israel's borders and God is touching our borders. We're trying to force Israel into coexistence with terrorists -- and those same terrorists are here now, attacking us."

McTernan believes the United States will suffer mightily if it continues to push Israel to give up land for a Palestinian homeland. "God will reduce us to a Third World country," he says. "We have people coming across our borders who don't really want to become Americans. They want to turn America into Mexico."

"We have tampered with Israel's borders, we're forcing Israel into a position to give the covenant land up," he says, "and [now] our land, our borders are being threatened, especially in the Southwest, like Israel's borders are being threatened."
