I praise the Lord for you Laurie, my dear sister in Christ. [Kiss]

Today marks the nineteenth anniversary since the Lord saw fit to deliver me into the proper custody needed to ensure He could protect me from myself and deliver me from addiction to drugs. Praise God, because that morning my plan was to procure as much LSD as I could get my hands on and borrow my stepfather's gun and end my short life (I was 15).

I am so thankful for His faithfulness to me, even evident in the years in which I ceased to be faithful to Him. He never abandoned me or forgot me, never ceased to protect me, and I thank Him for being merciful and bringing me back home this past year. Even though I came home with my tail tucked between my legs, penniless as the prodigal son, (but fortunately still clean and sober, He never allowed me to go back to that death sentence of a lifestyle), He welcomed me home joyfully and graciously and I love Him so much.
