Today at our Church a sweet missionary couple from Afgahastan, discussed there work with widows in Afgahastan. It is hard for widows there because when a woman's husband dies, she is not allowed to work but must depend on her husband's family. If they desire they can make her their servant for life.
This couple works to help these women and shares the gospel with them. The couple teaches them to make quilts and provides sewing machines to each woman.
They have had some of the women accept Jesus as their Saviour. I am thankful for the women there who are finding Jesus and accepting Him as their Lord. Please pray for this couple and these women. Being a Christian in a Muslem Country has got to be very very hard.
