What a beautiful and inspirational poem, Sky!! Thank you so much for sharing!! How wonderful to know that our Lord is so very worthy to be praised! Thank you, Father God, for your faithfulness, your love, your compassion and the peace you give your children.

Thank you Sky, that was lovely.
All praise to the one who died for us all. He is everything that is good, loving and forgiving. As we struggle here to understand and know the truth we can give thanks and praise that he will love us for trying and forgive us if we don't get it exactly right.

I prayed a prayer of praise today,
To lift up a friend,
I placed it on the message board
Hoping it would not end.
It was read by many
My thoughts of God's awesome power,
And many replies where made
Ten within the hour.
For clothes, for rest,
A house, a car parked on the street,
A homeless family, food for every belly,
And shoes on every feet.
I praised My Father,
He has given the ultimate prize,
I hoped every one would take some time
To just stop and realize.
No matter where you are
What you're doing in your life
Take time to praise your Savior
He made the giving Sacrifice.
I have not much I told Him,
And neither does my friend,
But we praise you Father,
For the gift that will not end.
