Some of the descriptions are mythologic.. Remember Apostle John was seeing things he had never seen before. On the other hand the seals and bowls of judgment are real judgments God will pour out on this world.
Keep in mind if we are redeemed by the blood of Jesus, we will not be here.

So is revelation supposed to be interpreted literally?

I have been blessed to do 7 studies with different Pastors and Teachers. I am no expert but I know God is the WINNER at the end. Praise God.
