Thanks for posting. This is so true. There are days I can barely move and I admit I get discouraged and then I see someone in a wheel chair and I am thankful that even though I walk slow and painfully I still have another day I can walk. betty

WOW, what an awesome post my friend.
It is amazing how things in our life seem so horrible -- or difficult -- or troublesome -- but it is only untill we have seen how our life COULD be that we are thankfull for how good God has allowed our life to be.
Good Post.

"For our present troubles are quite small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us an immeasurably great glory that will last forever". 1 Corinthians 4:17 As I was leaving work the other day and complaining to myself about how far I had to walk to get to my truck, I met a young man wearing a prosthetic arm and leg. I couldn't help but notice how he functioned despite his disability, it was as if he didn't know he was missing any limbs. My first thoughts were ones of compassion and sorrow but after meeting him several more times those thoughts gave way to admiration and humbleness. My concerns for myself was soon lost in my concern for him and his situation. After that encounter, I no longer grumble about how far I have to walk. In the midst of difficult times, focusing on the needs of others will help us put our needs in perspective by comparison. When we compare our need to someone else's, ours becomes not quite so profound. Don't allow your problems to get in the way of helping others. Its not about us: its about pleasing God. Gods goal for you is not worldly success, but it is about faithfulness in loving others. "He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him", 1John 2:10. Charles Sonnier
