Hi, wray7119, some text in that website said
quote:
How say we flee to our mountain? Christians of the Tribe of Judah. Know you not that as he is so are we in this world? The Word says that it is evident our Lord sprang out of Judah. So as he is, so are we. For the head of the body and the body are all of one. Whatever the head is, so is the body. One name covers all, Christians.
But the Bible says that we are grafted into the good olive tree of Israel, not of Judah.

And the Bible also says that the house of Israel (the 10 northern tribes of Israel) and the house of Judah (the 3 southern kingdom of Judah) will later receive salvation and be added back to Israel and "so shall all Israel be saved".

So why should I call myself a "Christian of the tribe of Judah" when I have been grafted into the good olive tree of Israel?

Romans 11:17
And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree.

Romans 11:19
You will say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.

Romans 11:23
And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.

Romans 11:24
For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which are the natural branches, be grafted back into their own olive tree?

So why call myself a "Christian of the tribe of Judah"? If anything, that sounds "cultish".

And also usually when people claim to have "deeper understanding in the Lord" (although there IS such a thing), but usually that means something like, "we have found the secret understanding, that if you will listen to us, you will be initiated into the deeper understanding that "few if any have ever attained to" and in the process end up sounding like Lucifer-Satan again: "ou shall be like God."

The only "deeper understanding" that I know of is to cry out, "Lord, have mercy on me a sinner!" Now THAT is DEEP, brother wray7119.

love, Eden
