WILDB, do you post here for HIS glory, or yours?
Jud 1:16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
If you are concerned about turning people away, why are you so 'crude' and abrupt?

There remaineth therefore a 'rest' to the people of God.

Col 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
This passage reads, "Christ in you, the 'hope' of glory." And to what does it refer when it says glory? It refers to one's eternal habitation with Christ. Yet what comes before that phrase? It is the expression which clearly indicates 'possibility'. That possibility is that Christ 'in' you, is the "possibility" of glory. That is a far cry from total assurance that all of you once saved always saved people feel you 'have', who say you are now 'saved', and it is irreversable. For Paul said "he did not 'consider' himself to have 'attained' RESURRECTION FROM THE DEAD! That means that he didn't feel he was osas until he crossed the finish line.
Here is another delight! These people were said to be 'saved'. But though they were 'saved', the Lord afterwards destroyed them that believed not!
Jud 1:5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
So now let's go to Hebrews and see what happens to those who "having a promise to enter HIS rest," do not.
Amen!
