As for the population, if God had his way we would have many more than are here now. If we would listen to Him our world would be prosperous and much more wonderful than it is.
We, think we know better. We want in on His leadership and running of the government. Sounds like someone else doesn't it? That is why God called him a serpent...a low down sneaking dirt eating slimy man killing scum bag scheduled to be toasted and forgotten.
We can go along with him, knowing the penalty, and sacrafice ourselves for him, never to return and never to be a marter, just a dummy, thinking there are a group of virgins waiting for us, for cryin out loud, or just to have our own way because we know it all.
Or
We can join forces with Jesus and smarten up. It isn't too late to get our heads screwed on right and join forces. Stop following the Jug Heads and Follow Jesus. It's all in the Book.

Go to now, you rich men, weep and howl for your miseries shall come upon you.
Here are some sobering facts that we all should know:
IN the year:
In 1830, the population of the earth reached 1 billion for the first time.
In 1930, the population of the earth doubled from 1 billion to 2 billion, in just 100 years.
In 1976, the population of the earth doubled again from 2 billion to 4 billion, in just 46 years.
And now in 2009, there are 6.5 billion people on earth.
So in 1930, when the Great Depresssion happened, there were only 2 billion people on earth.
This time, there are 6.5 billion people on earth, and already the stock market and housing market have contracted by 35%.
35% of 6.5 billion people is 2 billion people, unemployed, idle, all their money gone, just as in the Great Depression. Except this Great Depression will be MUCH WILDER with 6.5 billion people.
And just as with the New Deal, we are trying to pay our way out of it. $1.8 trillion is proposed so far!
James 5:1
Go to now, you rich men, weep and howl for your miseries shall come upon you.
2 Your riches are corrupted and your garments are motheaten.
3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. You have heaped treasure together for the last days.
