Dinosaurs: First go to 2nd Peter 3:5,6,7. Now, go to Genesis (meaning generation) 1: 1,2.
How does this grab ya ? Prior to what we now know as the planet earth the planet was here. Very little is said about it but in Hebrew Gen 1:1,2 it tells us that it was the age of the dinosaurs and who knows what else.
Thunderz7 has furnished a lot of the research on the matter.
I'm gonna try to translate Gen 1:1,2 but you will need to read it a few times to get it.... 1. In the beginning God (pause, heb.Elohim, Plural) (First occurance connects it with creation, and denotes, by usage, the creator in relation to his creatures. Elohim is God the Son, the Living Word with creatre form to create. See John 1:1, Col 1:15-17, Rev 3:14) let's continue..created the heaven and the earth. (that means to make perfect) Then, the heaven and the earth, in hebrew, the particle ETH goes before each word to emphasise the article as we read it but distinguishing one from the other. (In Hebrew, heavens is always plural). 2. and (polysyndeton, means many ands each with emphasis, or like God being a lamp by which to guide you to each) the earth (anadeplosis, which means the same earth as in verse 1) was (became to pass)without form (waste heb. toho va hohu) Tohu, heb. without form, is used for a subsequent event which we know not how long before the creation, befell the primitive creation of Gen 1:1. Heb Va bohu, meaning rendered void, as it says, and void, means desolate, an enemy hath done this (now who could have that been?) to continue...and darkness was upon the face of the deep. (In like manner, man became a ruin Ecc 7:20, Rom 7:18 Other Refs: Isaiah 14:12-15, John 17:5, Jeremiah 4:22-31, Rev 12:1-4, Ezek 28:1-19 Mal 1:3 and Isaiah 45:18 Nuf said.

I was wondering if dinosaurs are going to be part of the "new earth". That would be pretty interesting to be able to pet a T-rex.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Isaiah 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

while I was reading Genesis last night a thought popped in my mind about Dinosaurs. Call it the "oneinchrist" dinosaur theory if you would like. If we believe the bible and the account of Genesis we believe that everything was created in the first 6 days.......that would include dinosaurs.
I think it is possible that after sin entered the world that the dinosaurs killed each other off.......the ice age theory seems crazy because man would have gone extinct then too.
