No, the Holy Spirit sometimes reminds us of when we are doing something wrong and sometimes he warns us not to do something wrong. He often reminds us to read the Bible and to go to Church. The Holy Spirit helps us stay out of trouble.

Okay The Holy Spirit.

The first time a person meets the Holy Spirit, is when He whispers in our heart the need for salvation. With out the Holy Spirit dealing with us, we would never know or understand our need for salvation. At the moment we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit comes and lives in our heart. The Holy Spirit is our friend. He convicts us when we are sinning. He comforts us when we are sad. Jesus said that after He left, He would send the comforter and that is the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is not an it, He is a He. He is the third part of the Trinity. He is a part of God.
The unpardonable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Jesus said He would forgive blasphemy against Himself but not against the Holy Spirit. This is because without the Holy Spirit convicting sinners, they cannot be saved. A Christian cannot commit this sin. Because the Holy Spirit is living in us.
So what would you like to add to this? Do you feel the Holy Spirit dealing with you in your life?

So Brotherbrown, does anyone every talk about the Bible here? The answer is yes, and why don't you talk to US about the Bible too so that we all can learn more about God's ways and means, Amen? Post answers and post Topics and further the cause of the God of Israel, the Only True God and all other gods are idols, Amen?

Hi, TEXASGRANDMA. I enjoyed your suggestions to Brotherbrown, some of which I repeat below”

1. How about John the Baptist?

2. What are you views about the ministry of John?

3. Do you often wonder if John played with Jesus as a child?

4. How do you think John felt when his ministry began to lessen and Jesus' ministry began to expand?

Eden here:

I suppose from your proposed Topics that you have been thinking about John the Baptist lately?
I do NOT often wonder whether John played with Jesus as a child. Do you know what the answer is?

The answer is likely, NO, cousin John did NOT play with cousin Jesus as a child. Why do I say this?

Because cousin John lived in the wilderness of Judah and cousin Jesus lived at Nazareth of Galilee because King Archelaus reigned in place of his Edomite father Herod, and when Joseph and Mary with the by-now CHILD Jesus came up out of Egypt towards Jerusalem, Joseph and Mary heard how Archelaus, Herod’s son, was King Archelaus at Jerusalem, and the Spirit of God redirected cousin Jesus to Nazareth of Galilee.

So TEXASGRANDMA, you asked:

2. Do you often wonder if John played with Jesus as a child?

Eden here:

The answer is: I do NOT often wonder if John played with Jesus as a child.

Luke 1

39 And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Judah;
40 And she entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.
41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:

Matthew 2

21 And he {Joseph} arose and took the young child and his mother {Mary}, and they came into the land of Israel.

22 ut when he {Joseph} that ]Archelaus did reign in Judah in the place of his father Herod, he {Jospeh and Mary and Jesus} was {were} afraid to go there: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee.

23 And he {Joseph and Mary and cousin Jesus came} to dwell in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.

Eden here:

Sister TEXASGRANDMA, cousing John was located in the Judean Hills and at age six months cousin Jesus was living in Egypt and when cousin Jesus was about 2 years old, cousin Jesus came up out of Egypt and bypassed Jerusalem because of Archelaus and they went to live in Naareath of Galilee

Sister TEXASGRANDMA, I don’t think cousin John, who was 6 months older than cousin Jesus, played together as a child.

With Christian love to you, Eden

Call me brother Eden, or just, Eden. What part of the Bible are you studying currently? I'm listenign to 2 Chronicles on tape in the car right now. Which part are you thinking about right now, Brotherbrown?

Love, so-to-be-glorified, Eden

I'm confused. Do I have to come up with a subject? Being bible topics I just figured that is what people would be discussing.
