I believe that if our motive becomes the pursuit of Gods will ,it will open the pathway for the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We must be trustworthy in order to be entrusted. Sometimes I wonder if our assurance is withheld because proper motive has not been established. Let the love of God motivate our hearts to do His will, for in doing so we become an ally to kingdom growth. Praise God!!

When God sends His servants to preach, their motive shouldn’t be to save anyone from hell, they deserve hell. When believers do anything for God, their motives should always be for the glory of God and not their own self-glory. Salvation and escape from hell is only a by-product of bringing glory to God.
1 Cor 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Amen, this is very true. While man is looking upon the outward appearance making his synopsis of another, God is judging the heart.

To me one of the scary things about being judged by God is our motives. I believe sometimes we do things for God and don't even know what our motives are. Sometimes it is easy but other times, we have no clue to much later when we look back. Sometimes, I know I have dual motives. I wonder things done for Christ will dual motives will count at all.
