well i am 18 going on 19.
Yea some other people have told me to ask God about it but i'm REALLY backslidden so i don't think i'm gonna hear from much Him.
Would God tell me anyway? I thought it was our choice what we decide to do in life.

At the end of the J4Jesus, you need to know in your heart that what you are doing, be it in the air-force or marines, is where God himself wants you. If he wants you in the air-force then thats where you sh ould stay. In doing so, you will not miss out in any kind of way.
I would encourage you to seek the Lord on this and ask HIM where he wants you to be.

If you're not 18 years old yet, you could wait semi-patiently until you are 18, and then you can join the Marines.
But your father is scared that you his son would die on him, that's why he wants you to go in the safer Air Force.
