Well BA, there are two things you need to realize here: 1. If you are a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ He is with you no matter where you are. So you don't have to "steal away" to be "with" Him. 2. When you commit yourself to employment He expects you to do the best possible job you can do as a witness to the world. If that means working overtime then you work overtime. Could it be that stealing away to be with Him is just an excuse to get out of working?

No BA I do not think that you are wrong; earning a living consumes too much of our lives. Steal away brother... you are stealing away from the enemy who desires to keep us focused on the world and the things in it!

On Wednesday I am this month potentially liable to work OVERTIME on Wednesdays, IF I AM ASKED, or IF I GO UP AND ASK THEM if they need me to stay this Wednesday for overtime.
I stole away so I could be with my Jesus on the CD and work on my Jesus project.
Am I wrong to want to "steal away from work {enough is enough} to be again with my Jesus"? Christian CD, Christian writing, Christian thinking, you know what I mean.
Somebody tell me, are we wasting precious time, so little time, to spend in the kingdom, to get the protection of a real Home.
May the LORD God of Israel bless us all who participate in this Internet Church.
