Conversion is prohibited?
In Tamilnadu, the Anti-Conversion Ordinance was in vogue once. But later the same government abrogated it. Conversion had been prohibited even in the first century itself, when Jesus was in flesh. Please read the following verses very carefully.
What shall we do to these men? For, indeed, a notable miracle has been done through them, is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it. But so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them that from now on they speak to no man in this name.
And they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus, But Peter and John answered and said to them “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. For we cannot but speak, the things which we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:16-20).
This incident happened after the resurrection of Jesus. The religious fundamentalists murdered Jesus as the extreme punishment of converting the people. But, because those bloodthirsty people were ignorance of the truth, Jesus said to his Father, when he was on the cross, “Father, forgive them for they don’t know what they do” (Lk 23:24). Peter told to the same people, “Yet now, brethren, I know that you did it in ignorance, as did also your rulers (Acts 3:17). St. Paul said, “None of the rulers if this age knew, for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory (Cor 2:8). Similarly, let the great God forgive the anti-Christian activists.
The French revolutionist Walter once challenged, that he would eradicate Bible and Christianity within his lifetime. He mocked that the Bible would be only in museums. But, the great Walter could not do it, because this destructively aggressive man died very soon. Today, the same building where he sat and conspired that atrocious idea, is serving as the Head Quarters for JENEVA BIBLE SOCIETY. The printing machines of Walter, which were printing atheism, are now printing the Holy Bible. Jesus is still alive.
Some Hindu organizations plagiarize the Christian social services; but public prudently discern the conspirational deception of them. Nowadays thousands of truth seekers embrace the eternal truth of Jesus and publicly renounce Hinduism. Today’s young Hindus are more radicals and smart to scrutinize and reprehend the religious leaders and to repudiate the criminals.
