turns out this dead fellow has a lot of pagan stuff, even a sign which reads, "pagans have rites too". And when my housemate called one of the people listed on his room application, it was a fellow pagan who asked to be allowed to come over immediately to "give him his pagan rites".

my housemate and I suddenly inherited all these "dungeons and dragons" action figures that the estate relative did not want and we also inherited 20 "Star Wars the Power of the Force" action figures.

we are going to sell them and take some more of the devil's money. Two of the Star Wars pieces are worth $75 each on the Internet, while three others are worth $31 each.

Luke 6:38
Give, and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

For what it is worth (probably not much)-

The swastika symbol is a 'cancelled cross'.

I am very impressed by the information you good folks have posted here!

Have a great day, and may the Lord be with you.

That may very well be the facts concering 'The Messianic Seal';

Remember the railing of Mat23 regarding the leaders of the day, and too, the parable of the tares? the tares have frequently tried to pass themselves off as being of the tribe of Judah, when they are in reality of the bloodline of Cain and his father the devil (John 8:44; Matthew 13:39) and of the religious camp of Satan himself (Revelation 2:9; Revelation 3:9; 1 John 4:3). We know also from the great books of Ezra and Nehemiah that for ages the tares have relentlessly "sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy," which is to say, they have worked craftily to get themselves written into the genealogical registry of God's People Israel (Ezra 2:652; Nehemiah 7:64), whether through intermarriage or subterfuge, in order to move up into positions of authority and power over God's People.

By Ezr 8:15, we read of the heavy infiltration of the nephilim permitted by the lazy Levites, "And I gathered them together to the river that runneth to Ahava; and there abode we in tents three days: and I viewed the people, and the priests, and found there none of the sons of Levi".

The Messianic Seal

 -
First Century Inscription in Stone

http://www.familybible.org/About/MessianicSeal1.htm

The emblem which has become known as the “Messianic Seal” was apparently used by Believers in Mashiach in first century Jerusalem in the Messianic Synagogue that was lead by Ya`akov ben Yosef, the half-brother of Yeshua. Discovered on artifacts that were secretly excavated from Mt. Zion prior to the 1967 six-day war by a Greek Orthodox monk who was living as a hermit in the Old City, the Seal consists of a menorah whose base is intertwined with the tail of a fish, creating a Magen David, or Shield (Star) of David.

The artifacts were discovered in a grotto near the Tomb of David and the traditional site of the Upper Room in the Old City, which was apparently used by the Miqra at Yerushalayim for their mikvah and as a place for anointing with oil for healing. It is also speculated that new believers were anointed with oil as part of their mikvah to symbolize the immersion of the believer by the Ruach HaKodesh into the Body of Mashiach.

Isa 22:23 And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house.

Isa 22:25 In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD hath spoken it.

The burden has always been upon the prophets to proclaim that which shall be the burden. Just wanted to point that out as I believe it to be needful. In the following and NEXT verses we have allusion to Jacob's ladder, to those who pass by the sea (of people) through the rivers (of life) to the earth.

Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Joh 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again, or from above.
Joh 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

This is very deep:

Isa 23:1 The burden of Tyre. Howl, ye ships of Tarshish; for it is laid waste, so that there is no house, no entering in: from the land of Chittim it is revealed to them.
Isa 23:2 Be still, ye inhabitants of the isle; thou whom the merchants of Zidon, that pass over the sea, have replenished.
Isa 23:3 And by great waters the seed of Sihor, the harvest of the river, is her revenue; and she is a mart of nations.
Isa 23:4 Be thou ashamed, O Zidon: for the sea hath spoken, even the strength of the sea, saying, I travail not, nor bring forth children, neither do I nourish up young men, nor bring up virgins.
Isa 23:5 As at the report concerning Egypt, so shall they be sorely pained at the report of Tyre.
Isa 23:6 Pass ye over to Tarshish; howl, ye inhabitants of the isle.
Isa 23:7 Is this your joyous city, whose antiquity is of ancient days? her own feet shall carry her afar off to sojourn.
Isa 23:8 Who hath taken this counsel against Tyre, the crowning city, whose merchants are princes, whose traders are the honorable of the earth?
Isa 23:9 The LORD of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, and to bring into contempt all the honorable of the earth.
Isa 23:10 Pass through thy land as a river, O daughter of Tarshish: there is no more strength.

1Co 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

Col 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Eze 28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

Take thy pick on the FIVE point??

1. The five-pointed in North Korea star signifies the happy prospects of the people building
socialism
2. A simple five-pointed star within a circle, it has appeared in countless books,
plays and films over the years as the sure sign of the Devil
3. The Freemason outline of the pentagram or "endless knot" is a five pointed star, ...
a five-pointed star in a circle, which symbolizes the four elements in balance.
4. Five-pointed star - symbolic of the life of Christ and may also represent the
five wounds of Christ.
5. The five-pointed star in a circle (correctly named a "pentacle") is representative
of the species of humanity.
6. The pentacle is a five-pointed star with a circle all around it, the circle represents the Spirit which works through the four elements to achieve spiritual unity. It is a symbol of the Earth and of the North, and as such is feminine and a tool of the Goddess. It is the symbol of life, fertility and death. It is the symbol of first degree Wiccanhood, and is displayed by the Priestess when she stands arms extended and legs apart. However in the second degree the pentacle is downwards pointing, representing the Horned God. It is in this case the symbol of death, and represents the time in a Witch's life when they must confront their inner self. In ritual it is a receptacle for grounding energy as well as sometimes used for serving the cakes in the Cakes and Wine Ceremony and is representative also of wealth in life, practicality and stability.

If we look at Deu 21:23 His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

We have;
1. Tree
2. Hanged

If we think of a tree the first thing that may come to mind are many branches, when we hang something we always look for a upright peace of wood that we may hang what we have in our hands.

Sorry BA a little of thy topic..

Miguel, greetings, if I read the post correctly, then I can agree, that nowhere in the Greek text is there an implication that the 'cross' was two sticks placed at any angle, but always of one piece alone. :

The word stauros; which denotes and upright pale or stake, to which the criminals were nailed for execution.

The word xulon, which generally denotes a piece of a dead log of wood or timber, for fuel or for any other purpose. It is not like dendron, which is used of a living, or green tree, as in Matt. 21:8. Rev. 7:1, 3; 8:7; 9:4, &c.

As this latter word xulon is used for the former stauros, it shows us that the meaning of each is exactly the same.

The verb stauros means to drive stakes
(There are two compounds of it used: sustauroo = to put any one thus to death with another (Matt. 27:44. Mark 15:32. John 19:32. Rom. 6:6. Gal. 2:20); and anastauroo = to raise up and fix upon the stake again (Heb. 6:6). Another word used is equally significant: porspegnumi = to fix or fasten anything (Acts 2:23)).

Deu 21:23 His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

Act 5:30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.

1Pe 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Act 13:29 And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulcher.

The Psalms 22 was written 1,000 years before anyone was crucified, proving again the infallibility of He who sees the end from the beginning.

This reminds me of a study I made concerning the nails that where place in Jesus. I was searching for the right view on the placement of the nails either in the center of the palm of the hand or at the wrist where all the strong nerves are. For even with the small saddle that was supposedly place to carry some of the weight a nail in the center of the hand will not have the power to hold as a nail in the wrist..

What kind of cross was Jesus crucified on?
Some say it was a "T", others say it was merely a stake.

Q. What kind of cross was Jesus crucified on? Some say it was a "T", others say it was merely a stake. How can I prove which is right?

(Submitted by: Dan)

A. There is considerable dispute on this issue, and the archeological and historical evidence isn't decisive either way. But the linguistic evidence, by itself, favors the "stake" interpretation. The main weight favoring a single pole being Jesus' instrument for crucifixion comes from the basic meaning for the Greek word translated "cross" in most translations, which is Greek stauroV or "stauros", Strong's Concordance #4716 . This word, such as used by the epic poet Homer, means a "stake," without any cross beam attached. Another word, translated "tree," from the Greek word xulon or "xulon," (Strong's Concordance #3586) is also used to refer to the instrument that killed Jesus (Acts 5:30; 10:39). This word has the basic meaning of "wood," although it also means "pole." This word's meaning also favors the "stake" interpretation.

One issue that comes up in this issue was how various ancient pagan religions, such as that of Egypt, used forms of the cross as symbols. The simplicity of the design and its ability to be varied no doubt encouraged different cultures to use it, and they may have devised it separately from one another. If one could prove the early Catholics took this symbol from the surrounding pagan culture of Rome, it would be good evidence that it has a pagan origin.

In two cases, an ancient corpse or piece of a corpse have been found showing the marks of crucifixion. In one case, a long single nail was put through both feet at the region of the ankles. But it wasn't long enough by itself to go securely into the main pole/post, so this person, like many others who were crucified, would have had a block of wood or short projecting pole for the buttocks to sit upon. This would help prevent the nails in the wrists from ripping through the hands by shifting the weight off the arms. (However, it should be noted that in a number of cases the arms were tied up using ropes instead, not by nails). In the other case, the victim had a "scratch" on the forearm, but the wrist wasn't damaged, so it wasn't full clear if the victim had had been attached to a cross piece also.

One issue that comes up is whether the condemned, as happened to Jesus, routinely had to carry the whole cross/stake, or just the cross piece. Catholic tradition favors the latter view, it should be noted. If this has a solid historical basis, then it may overturn the linguistic evidence cited above, depending on how reliable and early the primary sources it uses. An early Catholic writer, Tertullian, in the late second century said believers would "mark the brow with the sign of the cross" during such activities as meals, going to bed, and leaving and entering home.

Regardless of what form of the instrument of Jesus' death, all the world should appreciate and accept the sacrifice that Jesus made on our behalf by abasing Himself by undergoing a particularly cruel, painful, and disreputable form of death in order to save us all from our sins.

"The Invention of the Cross" by Helena the mother of Constantine (in 326), though it means her finding of the cross, may or may not be true; but the "invention" of it in pre-Christian times, and the "invention" of its use in later times, are truths of which we need to be reminded in the present day. The evidence is thus complete, that the Lord was put to death upon an upright stake, and not on two pieces of timber placed at any angle.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

How common was crucifixion in the ancient world? Quite common, at least among the Romans. Though Roman law usually spared Roman citizens from being crucified, they used crucifixion especially against rebellious foreigners, military enemies, violent criminals, robbers, and slaves. In fact slaves were so routinely crucified that crucifixion become known as the "slaves' punishment" (servile supplicium; see Valerius Maximus 2:7.12). Appian tells us that when the slave rebellion of Spartacus was crushed, the Roman general Crassus had six thousand of the slave prisoners crucified along a stretch of the Appian Way, the main road leading into Rome (Bella Civilia 1:120). As an example of crucifying rebellious foreigners, Josephus tells us that when the Romans were besieging Jerusalem in 70 A.D. the Roman general Titus, at one point, crucified five hundred or more Jews a day. In fact, so many Jews were crucified outside of the walls that "there was not enough room for the crosses and not enough crosses for the bodies" (Wars of the Jews 5:11.1).

How was crucifixion actually carried out? The first thing we learn from the sources is that there was great variety in the way crucifixions were done. The main thing was to expose the victim to the utmost indignity. The Romans appear to have followed the same procedure in most cases, but even they departed from this at times. Seneca points to this reality when he writes in one place, "I see crosses there, not just of one kind but made in many different ways: some have their victims with head down to the ground; some impale their private parts; others stretch out their arms on the gibbet" (Dialogue 6:20.3).

So what form did a more normal crucifixion take? First came the flogging or scourging. The flogging usually was done by two soldiers using a short whip (flagrum, flagellum) that had several leather thongs of different lengths. Tied to these leather thongs were small iron balls or sharp pieces of sheep bones. The victim was stripped of his clothing and his hands were tied above him to a post. The back, legs and buttocks would then be flogged until the person collapsed. With the back and legs thus torn open there would be extensive blood loss. This blood loss from the flogging often determined how long it took the crucified person to die on the cross. The fact that Jesus was not able to carry his cross all the way, and the fact that he died in six hours, indicates that this flogging must have been especially severe. The ancient sources tell us that many some people died just from the flogging.

Next the condemned man was made to carry his own cross to the place of crucifixion outside the city walls. This was not the whole cross, however, which probably would have weighed well over 300 pounds. The condemned man typically carried the crossbeam (patibulum) across his shoulders, shoulders that had just been ripped open by the flogging. This crossbeam would have weighed from 75-125 pounds. This procession to the site of crucifixion was ordinarily led by a complete military guard, headed by a centurion. A sign (titulus) which told what the condemned man was guilty of, was sometimes carried by a soldier and sometimes put around the condemned man's neck. Later this sign would be attached to the top of the cross.

There is some evidence in the sources that certain cities in the Roman Empire had places of execution set up outside the walls of the city. The Roman historian Tacitus records that there was such a place in Rome on the Campus Esqulinus (Annals 2:32.2; 15:60.1). Golgotha, outside the walls of Jerusalem, also appears to have been such a set place of execution. At these places of execution would have been permanently located the upright beam of the cross (stipes) onto which the crossbeam piece which the condemned man carried would be attached.

When the victim reached the place of execution, by law, he was given a drink of wine mixed with myrrh (gall). This was intended to be mild narcotic that would deaden the pain. It is significant that Jesus refused this drink. The criminal was then stripped naked, thrown to the ground on his back with his arms outstretched along the crossbeam. The hands then would either be tied or nailed to the crossbeam, but the sources clearly indicate that nailing was the Romans' preferred method. Then the victim, now nailed to the crossbeam, would be hoisted up so that the crossbeam was attached to the upright beam. Finally the feet were nailed, one on top of the other, to the upright beam with another iron spike. Jutting out from the upright beam was a small block or plank (sedile) which the crucified would straddle, thus absorbing some of the weight of the body.

From the sources we know that there was a high cross and a short cross. The short cross was the more common and was no more than seven feet high. The fact that a soldier put a sponge on a hyssop plant to give Jesus a drink, suggests that he was crucified on a seven foot cross, since the hyssop stalk was typically 20 inches long.

History of Peace Sign

quote:
The peace symbol has a convoluted and confusing history. It's most notable appearance in modern times was its first use by the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) at their Aldermaston march in 1956. The CND meaning of the symbol is semaphore for 'N' (the two diagonal lines) and 'D' (the two vertical lines). About ten years later, the symbol was adopted as a general peace sign within the student anti-war movement. It became probably the single best known symbol of the youth culture of the sixties. The CND was partly based on traditional churches, and I think they were also conscious of mixing two historic Christian symbols:

· The outer circle, designates EARTH (waste and void, Gen 1:2). The inner design, the "witches/crows feet", designate "GOD reaches down" (with gift of salvation, John 3:16).

With the appropriation of the symbol by the peace movement in the sixties, non-traditional and fundamentalist Christians (who apparently knew nothing of Christian symbols) placed a satanic meaning on it, calling it the Witch's Foot, or Crow's Foot (and sometimes Chicken's Foot), or Broken Cross. In the 1980s, the symbol was further appropriated (at least in the U.S.) to represent environmentalism. In this sense, it is rendered as a blue and green imitation of the U.S. flag, with the peace symbol replacing the stars in the canton.

T.F. Mills, 9-OCT-1996

History of the Swastika

quote:
The History of the Swastika

The swastika is an extremely powerful symbol. Though the Nazis used it to murder millions of people, for centuries it had positive meanings. What is the history of the swastika? Does it now represent good or evil?

The Oldest Known Symbol

The swastika is an ancient symbol that has been used for over 3,000 years. (That even predates the ancient Egyptian symbol, the Ankh!) Artifacts such as pottery and coins from ancient Troy show that the swastika was a commonly used symbol as far back as 1000 BCE.

During the following thousand years, the image of the swastika was used by many cultures around the world, including in China, Japan, India, and southern Europe. By the Middle Ages, the swastika was a well known, if not commonly used, symbol but was called by many different names:

China - wan
England - fylfot
Germany - Hakenkreuz
Greece - tetraskelion and gammadion
India - swastika
Though it is not known for exactly how long, Native Americans also have long used the symbol of the swastika.
The Original Meaning

The word "swastika" comes from the Sanskrit svastika - "su" meaning "good," "asti" meaning "to be," and "ka" as a suffix.

Until the Nazis used this symbol, the swastika was used by many cultures throughout the past 3,000 years to represent life, sun, power, strength, and good luck.

So, while you will not find me adorning peace signs and swastikas all over my house, you will note that the swastika pre-dates the Christian cross by about 1000 years and that the basis of the peace sign was on railroal semiphore code. I don't see how either is in this way an intended distortion of the cross.

My opinion on this is that if you are very religious you will believed anything that comes around and cause you to think different from the Word Of God which tells us that there is no other God beside Him. Evil is very real and is not a religion to itself is real, but when it comes to sings, rings, shape, points and so forth be careful in what you get into for even do we are a child of God our flesh is not glorified yet and our mind is commanded by God to be renew by His word that we may not fall in to divers temptations.

The so-called Star of David is essentially a hexagram, nothing more, nothing less.

I Kings 11:4-9 For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, [that] his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as [was] the heart of David his father. For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as [did] David his father. Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that [is] before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon. And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice,

The great goal of freemasonry is to rebuild Solomon’s temple – The OCCULT ONE and NOT THE HOLY ONE.

A Masonic book called The Second Mile, an Eastern Star book, reveals that the "six pointed star is a very ancient symbol, and one of the most powerful." The hexagram is used in magic, witchcraft, sorcery and occultism and the casting of zodiacal horoscopes by astrologers. "It was considered to posses mysterious powers."

Moloch, Chiun and Remphan are all names for the star god, Saturn, whose symbol is a six pointed star formed by two triangles. Saturn was the supreme god of the Chaldeans.

The hexagram was brought to the Jewish people by Solomon when he turned to witchcraft and idolatry after his marriage to Pharaoh's daughter in 922B.C. It became known as the Seal of Solomon in Egyptian magic and witchcraft. David had absolutely nothing to do with the hexagram and that star most certainly did not, in any way, represent God's people. Solomon gave himself up to satanic worship and built altars to Aashtroeth and Moloch (Saturn).

The hexagram faded from Jewish usage for 2,600 years. Then in the 1800’s, in Germany, it was adopted by Mayer Rothchild to mark his house. The six pointed star was used as the Rothchild coat of arms. It is difficult to pin down the date at which the six pointed hexagram star became known as the so-called Star of David. In fact the earliest Jewish application of the symbol outside the Rothchild banking and financial empire is 1873. That was the year that the Magen David was adopted as a Jewish device by the American Jewish Publication Society. It is not even mentioned in the rabbinic literature searches. Other than that fact, no one seems to know when or how the Occult or Satanic star, became the Star of David. What should a Christian or observant Jew have to do with this symbol, NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING. Keep the symbol out of your house. The evidence is overwhelming that it is a cursed symbol which may give demonic ground or license.

The hexagram has remained in use within the occult and is prominent in the rituals and worship of Druids, Freemasons, Astrology, New Age, and Wicca. Witches often have this hexagram symbol, of the so-called Star of David, tattooed on the abdomens or palms of witchcraft initiates.

Acts 7:42-43: Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness? Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

Amos 5:26-27 But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves. Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the LORD, whose name is The God of hosts.

Both Communism and Zionism are Masonic cults. The Red Star and Star of David are Masonic occult symbols. Most Communist and Zionist leaders are Freemasons.

If you examine the so-called "Star of David," or hexagram, closely, you will discover something astonishing. It has six points, forms six equilateral triangles, and in its interior forms a six sided hexagon -- thus it reveals the number of Satan’ antichrist beast, -- 6 points, 6 triangles, and the 6 sides of the hexagram -- 666 !!!

This ancient occultic figure is also a pagan symbol of sexual union and reproduction. The triangle pointing downward represents the female sexual organ, and the upward pointing triangle represents the male phallus. Joined together in the hexagram, they represent sexual union, to paganism and the occult, the union of the active and passive forces in nature. Thus the hexagram was a part of Satan's original "sex worship" rites and symbols of the sexually oriented rites and ceremonies of BAALISM -- Nimrod and Semiramis -- Easter (Astarte) and Baal -- Venus (Aphrodite) and Bacchus.

Although I cannot recall the name of the new age form, I do recall that this symbol is used for astral projection, ie, time travel and is being taught for that purpose, is connected with Mars, that we are the gods and all that crudolla.

Wow, what a subtle distortion in the pentegram. Probably a lot of people wouldn't realize that.

Also, Satan is author of any distortions in the cross - look at the swastika and the peace sign. I would never buy or use anything with the peace sign on it.

Star of David
by Rabbi Shraga Simmons
From the Holocaust to the Israeli flag, what is the deeper meaning of this six-pointed Jewish symbol?
In modern times, the Star of David has become a premier Jewish symbol. This six-pointed star (hexagram), made of two interlocking triangles, can be found on mezuzahs, menorahs, tallis bags, and kipot. Ambulances in Israel bear the sign of the "Red Star of David," and the flag of Israel has a blue Star of David planted squarely in the center.
What is the origin of this six-pointed symbol?
Through the Jewish people's long and often difficult history, we have come to the realization that our only hope is to place our trust in God. The six points of the Star of David symbolize God's rule over the universe in all six directions: north, south, east, west, up and down.
Originally, the Hebrew name Magen David -- literally "Shield of David" -- poetically referred to God. It acknowledges that our military hero, King David, did not win by his own might, but by the support of the Almighty. This is also alluded to in the third blessing after the Haftorah reading on Shabbat: "Blessed are you God, Shield of David."
Various other explanations exist on the meaning behind the Star of David.
One idea is that a six-pointed star receives form and substance from its solid center. This inner core represents the spiritual dimension, surrounded by the six universal directions. (A similar idea applies to Shabbat -- the seventh day which gives balance and perspective to the six weekdays.)
In Kabbalah, the two triangles represent the dichotomies inherent in man: good vs. evil, spiritual vs. physical, etc. The two triangles may also represent the reciprocal relationship between the Jewish people and God. The triangle pointing "up" symbolizes our good deeds which go up to heaven, and then activate a flow of goodness back down to the world, symbolized by the triangle pointing down.
A more practical theory is that during the Bar Kochba rebellion (first century), a new technology was developed for shields using the inherent stability of the triangle. Behind the shield were two interlocking triangles, forming a hexagonal pattern of support points. (Buckminster Fuller showed how strong triangle-based designs are with his geodesics.)
One cynical suggestion is that the Star of David is an appropriate symbol for the internal strife that often afflicts Jewish nation: two triangles pointing in opposite directions!
The Star of David was a sad symbol of the Holocaust, when the Nazis forced Jews to wear an identifying yellow star. Actually, Jews were forced to wear special badges during the Middle Ages, both by Muslim and Christian authorities, and even in Israel under the Ottoman Empire.
So whether it is a blue star waving proudly on a flag, or a gold star adorning a synagogue's entrance, the Star of David stands as a reminder that for the Jewish people... in God we trust.

Star of David -

Pentagarm:
 -

Free Masonry Pentegram of Baphomat:
 -

"The pentagram with one point upwards repels evil, but a reversed pentagram, with two points upwards, is a symbol of the Devil and attracts sinister forces because it is upside down and because it stands for the number 2. It represents the great Goat of the witches' sabbath and the two upward points are the Goat's horn." (The Black Arts, Richard Cavendish (G.P.Putnam's Sons Publishing; 1967, p.265).

"The spiritual knowledge of the Five-pointed Star is identical with its practical application. Let us beware that the figure is always well drawn, leaving no open space, through which the enemy can enter and disturb the harmony existing in the Pentagon. Let us keep the figure always upright, with the topmost triangle pointing to heaven, for it is the seat of Wisdom, and if the figure is reversed perversion and evil will be the result" (Magic - White and Black, Franz Hartmann, M.D., Newcastle Publishing, 1971,pp.290-291).

"Inverted Pentacle. The sacred symbol of Witchcraft often is misunderstood because of associations of the inverted pentacle, with single point down and double points up, with the infernal. If an upright five-pointed star represents God or the deity, then the reverse typically represents Satan...In Europe, some Witches have used the inverted pentacle to denote the second-degree rank. This use has declined, because of the association of the symbol with Satanism" (The Encyclopedia of Witches and Witchcraft, by Rosemary Ellen Guiley, Facts on File, Inc., 1989, p.266)

The Star of David is six-sided;
the center would be a hexagon.
It is two triangles overlapped.

Of the five sided star/pentergam, if one point was straight down it "could" be a masomic/satanic symbol.

this guy who died at my house (see here today, gone that night) had two finger rings which had a five-pointed star within a circle, and he also had a necklace with a five-pointed star in a circle.

I felt like calling it a "Satanic pentegram" at first but what is the star of David, does it have five points and where does that symbol of the star of David come from?

this guy was not a Christian, but he was wearing several five-pointed star symbols.

I know Lucifer-Satan is an imitator, but what was Lucifer-Satan imitating with those five-pointed star in a circle?

The necklace also has "hieroglyph" symbols along its outer edge.

what, if anything, is the difference between the star of David and the five-pointed star that I saw today? I know the man was not a Christian?

May the LORD YHWH bless and protect all of us. I am BORN AGAIN in the USA by the of Yahshua-Jesus, raised in Nazareth, but born in Bethlehem of Judah, as Micah 5:2 said would happen
