The bible says we would have persecutions but we also receive the comfort of the Holy Spirit. The bible also says to fear not. We must operate in the faith that pleases God. When Jesus explained the end times to his disciples in the gospels he said The gospel would be preached to the whole world and then the end would come. He was referring to the end of the age, not the end of the world. In America we need to be bold in encouraging people to return to our foundational heritage which was strongly christian. We have overcome every obstacle so far to take the gospel to the world. Today science and technology compete for our time and energies to spread the gospel. Instead of being swallowed by these forces, we need to harness them as tools to bring the gospel to unreached peoples, many of them right here in the USA. God has brought many people to our shores and cities. We need to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and fire like John the baptist prophesied and spread revival fires across our country. It has happened 4 times in the past and will happen again shortly. Now is the time to prepare to be used by God in this great awakening.

Its a shame to think that we may be facing that here in the USA in the future, makes me wonder if we look for the anti-christ in the wrong places. All I can say is that I'll be ready with my rifle to defend my Lord and family to my last breath.

Things are really heating up, kind of makes you wonder how much longer before America starts to get a real taste of persecution.
Debbie told me things are really happening in China too.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan —
Christians in a Pakistani town beset by pro-Taliban militants sought government protection Wednesday, the eve of a deadline for them to convert to Islam or face violence.
About 500 Pakistani Christians in Charsadda, a town in the North West Frontier Province bordering Afghanistan, received letters earlier this month telling them to close their churches and convert by Thursday or be the target of "bomb explosions."
