I am so illiterate when it comes to the history of other religions. I keep getting this arguement that the hostility toward the Christians from Muslims stems to the Crusades. Is this true? I don't subscribe to the methodology of jhad but did the "Christians" start it? I pray for our soldiers, but I feel that the real respocibility is on the shoulders of todays Christians to step up and move a mountain with Faith. It wouldn't be widespread belief, that if you hear God you are hearing voices, (crazy like Joan of Arc), if we were closer to Him. We have to perform to prove our worth. We need a massive movement in Faith to change the way things are. I have trouble believing that the way the panet is, is because it is God's will. I want to believe that fairness is that we can improve and because of God keeping His word we are rewarded with unrealized gifts of the Spirit.

From my studies of Islam I've come to the following conclusions:
The "expression" of Christianity that dominated muslim history was the Catholic type. Specifically the Catholic crusade type wherein scores of muslims were killed in war as the newly convened "Holy" Roman Empire marched Eastward in hopes to retake the original lands of the Roman Empire.
Muhammed lived around 620 AD and his religious invention was largely in response to the visible evil of the Catholic dogma that permeated the culture in which he lived.
To this day the muslim's distrust of anything "Christian" is founded on their experiences in the crusades...and who can blame them.
However, unlike their successful opposition of the Catholic heresy their Islamic "gates" cannot keep the true gospel of the Kingdom out...I think that's written somewhere.
It is written: "All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory."
Nebaioth and Kedar are the first and second born of Ishmael. We should expect to see God move, quite surprisingly I reckon, to bring the true gospel to the Arabs. And they will receive it.

There are so many bad things that the Muslims do that are not put on TV. The Liberals do not want America to know the truth. I often wonder especially about other women who get on TV and talk about how much they respect the Muslim relgion. Yet, they are pushing a relgion that would take away all rights from women. A relgion that would allow your family to burn you alive for just talking to a man outside your family. A relgion that would allow your family to kill you if you got raped. What are these women thinking? But then again there are women who would protest at a business for using rats for experiments but also protest for the right to kill their own unborn child. Like Paul said in the last days what is good would be considered bad and what is bad would be considered good. betty

Muslims torture Christian for hours, now in jail A Christian man in Pakistan`s Punjab province was attacked on March 23 by a mob of some 150 Muslims. He was beaten and tortured for allegedly desecrating the Qur’an. The attack ended when police arrested the alleged blasphemer charging him under Section 295 B of Pakistan`s Penal Code, the so-called Blasphemy law, which could mean life in prison for him. By contrast, his attackers were not charged...
