sorry about forgetting it was you. I am so absent minded. believe me, my kids could tell you stories.

The book is really good. You don't know the good guys from the bad till nearly the end. It is a mystery yet it is filled with God's love. Does make you realize how one person can make a difference in the world and yet still be a small piece in the puzzle. It is set in the Amazon jungle which is a neat place to read about. The people are not perfect but human which makes it easier to relate to. It ends on a positive note which I liked.
I read a Christian fiction by someone else last week that was the most depressing book I had ever read. If I was not a Christian and read that book, I would run from God as fast as I could. The main Character was a Christian who's entire like was a disastor from a young child and nothing good every happend to her and there was not even a good reason for all her misory. I was so glad to finish that book.

But, Thunder of Heaven leaves you with a warm feeling in your heart. I like that.

thank you for recommending Ted Dekker

It was yours truly, Texas. Glad you enjoyed it. I haven't read that one. Tell me about it?

Someone recommeded on this site for me to read one of his books. I am embarrassed to say I can't remember who. Anyway, I finished "Thunder of Heaven today by him. It is a very good book.
