I think that in the end at least the part that would force churchs to hire gay folks will be changed. I don't think they can make churchs of any kind hire people who do not hold to there beilefs. On the other hand to be honest how is a church going to know what is going on in a persons heart and mind unless they tell you. There is no why you can tell a person is gay outside of the sterotypes. There have been many cases of gay people going to churchs for years before anyone every knows they are gay. Not to mention most Church jobs are not all that high paying why would a gay person subject themselfs to that kind of uncomforableness for not that much money?

I do believe if any Church goes along with this law, they are not a true Church and anyone involved with them should leave it ASAP!
Read the bible and obey it, for your eternity depends on what you believe and what you do!

Excellent article Brother David. We see what has happened in Canada, and those who are not spiritually blind can see the rise of iniquity in our society, and so much compromise of the faith in so many churches.
Perhaps churches should reduce in size and volunteers step forward to fulfill the duties and needs. Perhaps more ordained elders and deacons to fulfill the staff duties of the denominations, and the statement of faith the criteria for pastors and deacons.
It is an awesome indicator of the last days, when iniquity shall abound and the love of many shall wax cold.
God bless and thank you for the article.

Churches barred from `gay` discrimination
New measure requires religious groups to hire homosexuals - Illinois churches are protesting a new state law that bars them from "discriminating" against homosexuals, contending it robs Christians of their First Amendment freedoms...
