A proposed California initiative that would provide the King James Bible as a
textbook to public-school students is now being circulated for signatures.
Organizers of the effort now have until May 24 to collect 598,105 valid
signatures, which would put the initiative on the statewide ballot ...

According to Israeli supporter Gary Bauer, the "big fad" among Palestinian
children is to collect trading cards -- "not of football players or baseball
players, but in fact of well-known terrorists and thugs," he says. It is the
"ultimate handiwork" of Arafat that Palestinian children look up to murderers
and are already mentally prepared to "kill the infidel." Consequently, he says,
a Palestinian state "will inevitably be a dagger pointed at the heart of Israel
