The anti-Catholicism of this message board amazes me.

“His image”

Romans 9:11-24

Our Eschatology may vary even our Ecclesiology may be disputed among us but our Soteriology most assume a singularity and exclusivity which in biblical term is known as Quote; "The Narrow Way" and Quote!

Pope attributes miracle to Mother Teresa
http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/...sainthood_x.htm

VATICAN CITY (APOnline) — Pope John Paul II brought Mother Teresa closer to sainthood on Friday when he approved a miracle attributed to the nun who dedicated her life to the poor.

The Vatican said the nun's work in the past century had made her a "world emblem of Christian charity" and that a "vast movement" in support of society's most marginalized was inspired by her example

The miracle allows a beatification ceremony, expected next spring. A second miracle would make Mother Teresa eligible for sainthood.

As a sign of admiration for Mother Teresa's dedication to the destitute, the pope waived the customary five-year waiting period to begin procedures that can lead to canonization. Mother Teresa died in 1997 at the age of 87.

The miracle attributed to her involves a young Indian woman with a stomach tumor who recovered after a picture of Mother Teresa was placed on her abdomen.

Zechariah 10:2
The idols speak deceit, diviners see visions that lie; they tell dreams that are false, they give comfort in vain. Therefore the people wander like sheep oppressed for lack of a shepherd.

Matthew 24
23 At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it.

24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect--if that were possible.

25 See, I have told you ahead of time.

Mark 13:22
For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect–if that were possible.

(Whole Chapter: Mark 13

In context: Mark 13:21-23)

Matthew 24
10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other,

11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.

12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,

The pope has elevated more than 460 people to sainthood in his 24 years as pope.

The making of St. Mychal By Charisse Jones, USA TODAY

http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation...hal-cover_x.htm

NEW YORK — There was a time when 4-year-old Matthew Brown did not speak well. He wouldn't respond to certain noises. He could hardly look a person in the eye. Specialists said his communication and cognitive skills were delayed.

The Rev. Mychal Judge, the FDNY chaplain killed in the terror attacks, is being boosted for SAINTHOOD.

So Scott Brown prayed that God would loosen his son's tongue. He prayed to family members long dead, to St. Nicholas and St. Joseph. And after Sept. 11, 2001, Brown began to pray to the Rev. Mychal Judge, the 68-year-old New York priest who was the first person listed as a casualty of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.

"Once I started praying to Mychal Judge, the positive outcome ... was almost instantaneous," says Brown, 41, a Newport, R.I., firefighter, about his son's recovery. "For someone who was so silent and would never make eye contact with you, he's like a different child. ... I can't help but to say that it is miraculous."

People who never met the priest pray at his grave in New Jersey. His face is recognized as far away as Lourdes, the healing shrine in France. Letters have been sent to New York Cardinal Edward Egan and others who could propel the process for sainthood.

And some, like Brown, speak of miracles. A Colorado woman believes that prayers to Judge helped heal a hole in her baby's heart. Another mother, who knew Judge when he was alive, tells of how doctors said her baby would be born hydrocephalic, with abnormal fluid on the brain. But after Judge prayed over the woman, her daughter was born healthy.
