Last Sept, when we moved from Houston to Washington State, my mom went around the whole car, and annoited with olive oil and prayed over the car before we left. God got us here with out any problems. Just something to think about. Hugs, Betty

Primoa1970,
I'm glad that you and your wife trust in God for everything and are confident in His protection. I will hold you up in prayer as I'm sure others here will.
Although it is too early to determine what the force and effects of this new hurricane will be, I think it is wise to remember that Charlie didn't end up doing exactly as was predicted. If you must go to Florida then you must. But I would advise giving serious consideration and prayer to the idea of postponing your trip. If you do go, be careful, be aware of potential dangers in the weather, and use good sense. It is not lack of faith to run out of a burning building, nor is it lack of faith not to drive into a hurricane.
God Bless you and your family.
-------------------- In Christ's love. Amen.

My wife and I are driving down to Orlando, FL this Friday night. We do this every year at this time. This is the first time I've ever had to deal with a possible major hurricane bearing down on us. I would ask all of my fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord who read this to lift us up in prayer. We wont be on the coast of Florida so that's a bit of a plus.....however, I remember what hurricane Andrew did 12 years ago.....anything can happen. I know that God is in control of it all and ultimately, He will have His way in this matter. But we are still commanded to pray regardless of His foreknowledge and sovereignty. I thank you all in advance for this. -Primo
