Lets see if I have this right, Rantisi the second highest ranking official in Hamas said after the fouled attempt by Israel to kill him, that "we will drive all Jews out of Palestine". Of course he means Israel because he mistakenly thinks there is a place called Palestine, but then Tony Blair is laboring under the same illusion.
Yasser Arafat goes on TV and denounces the suicide bombing that just killed 17 Israelis, injuring over 100. Then on the very next day says that if the US doesn’t give him recognition for denouncing this act, he would encourage more in the future.
The main problem Arafat is having is not with Israel but with other Arab Countries, many of them see that there is a real chance to destroy Israel if the George Bush’s Road Map is allowed to run the course. But this puts Arafat in the back seat and he fears completely out of the picture if he loses his grip now. So he is using every underhanded trick he knows, and he knows a bunch of them.
Now we hear that the word "Cease-fire" is not in the Hamas dictionary. And that they will never quit until all the Jews are driven from this land and there is no state of Israel. When we put that together with the recent polls that show that over 80% of Arabs throughout the entire Arab world agree that there can never be peace until Israel is destroyed. But it is also worth noting here that Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Aksa and Martyrs Brigades are all working hand in hand these days, and what is even more obvious is Arafat is in the middle of them all as we have always known he was.
Muhammad Dahlan the new Palestinian Minister of Security Affairs is offering the Aksa Martyrs Brigades $6,000 for their weapons and another $6,000 if they will join the new Palestinian forces that are now being trained by the CIA. It is also interesting to note that when they collect these weapons the US will give them new M-16 ($5,000 each) as part of their new training with the CIA. The money would come from the US, Britain and other EU Countries. But if I am not mistaken 2 + 2 = 4. And if you will add the above info with the $12,000 payoff for Terrorists to join the new Palestinian security forces, it spells real bad news for the future of Israel. Now for anyone, who doesn’t agree with these numbers or facts it has all been spelled out in the past week in the Jerusalem Post, just go there and read it for yourself.
Sharon has the Hamas leaders on the run, and it’s hard to give orders when you are hiding in a cave or a basement, knowing that when you open up any kind of communication you give away your position and here comes the IDF to get you. I’d love to hear Sharon use one of Bush’s little cowboy type statements "they can run and hide, but we will find them" or how about "wanted Dead or Alive". But maybe even better would be an order of Shock and Awe.
But for what it is worth, I believe Bush will wake up maybe not in time to get re-elected but it has to be occurring to him about now, he is losing many Christian votes, and the Jewish vote as well. When you consider he has already lost the minority vote. I’ve even noticed in the past three days a change in his tone. He went from very disappointed in Israel to understanding. So if you don’t think your emails and letters to the White House are meaningful, think again.
But the bottom line is, as long as the Arab world is in control of so much oil and wealth and the Islamic faith has such a grip on nearly 2 billion people around the world, Israel will never be accepted as a Jewish State. And as long as the Devil is loose in this world Jews will be hunted down and murdered by the ones the Devil controls. Israel has been here for the past 55 years only because God knew they must be strong and willing to fight to be here. This is a tough neighborhood and the weak don’t last long around here. If Israel keeps listening to the US, EU, Russia and UN our destruction will be near at hand.
There is little you and I can do as individuals, but what little we can do we must. For if fear stops us from the courage we must have to stand for what God has shown us to be right, they we lose as individuals. And when it is all said and done, your salvation doesn’t depend on what anyone else does, only on what you do. I know, some are thinking that is not correct and that it only depends on what Yeshua did, true, but you must accept what He did on the Cross, and then you must work out your own salvation. Your rewards in heaven will depend on your works or the lack of them. So to know to do good and to do it not, is a sin.
As for this ministry, we have been given an awesome task, but we must not flinch or show any weakness. Knowing that it is only in Him that we can succeed yet with the knowledge of that strength that is there for us, by faith we can be assured of success. We are nearly completed with the work on the boat, still some electronics and navigational equipment to be purchased. But one of our greatest needs is the finance to send out the right people to make the right contacts. They must travel in very dangerous places and not just anyone can make such trips. We need your prayers and support and we need it now.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for our son Joel, for the IDF and all those who have come to fight the Islamic enemy. Pray for this ministry and your part in it. Shalom, jerry golden
