Absolutely. The tenants of Islam are rooted in violence and its use for the proliferation of the religion. They have no "New Testament" to speak of. Their old ways are their only ways.
If they are peaceful it is simply because they have no present reason to use violence or any safe means to do so or because they are not "good" muslims. I, for one, am not about to encourage the "bad" muslims to be more faithful.

I wonder if the rising trend of muslim violence will ultimately usher in less tolerant laws for all religions. Even now, when muslim violence is reported I often hear the terms "fundamentalist" and "extremist". "Extremist" is used so the politicians do not marginalize the millions of muslim voters. "Fundamentalist" is used to demonize all expressions of religious fundamentalism and intolerance; Christian or otherwise.
Certainly the muslim Qu'ran and Hadith permit the use of such violence "in certain situations"...even ordering "all good muslims" to commit such acts when necessary. Even Mohammed ordered the killing and assassination of certain individuals. For muslims such action is not "extremism" it is fundamental to their religious practices.
When talking to a muslim about this issue he suggested that the Bible, too, was rife with killings ordered by God.
"Sure," I said, "and after Jesus' death on the cross things changed." "We have a new way of life now, the way of the Spirit of God. Jesus showed us how such a life is to be lived." (I kept the explanation very simple) I went on to say, "Tell me, do you have a new way to live or are you still bound, as a muslim, by what your prophet wrote 1400 years ago?" Still insisting that the God of the Bible I respected ordered the killing of people I said, "Fine, you kill as many people as did Mohammed (either directly or by order) and I will kill as many people as did Jesus. Now, who did the killing?" Miffed, he ended the conversation with an insult.
One simply cannot divorce Islam from its violent roots.

American citizens are subject to our laws. If they are breaking the law then they are criminals.
If American Muslims are actively plotting propaganda or bombings, or other activities to undermine our country's defense, then they would be traitors.
So we have a fine line. Where does freedom of speech end? We know if they are doing activities such as plotting bombings or other terrorists acts, it is a crime, but what if they are just printing propaganda?
I know everytime I hear about how Pres Bush "lied" that the source is from Islamic propaganda. Most Americans don't seems to get it.

I am sorry to say that I also feel this way; they had to do that in WWII you know. But what do you do about those who are citizens? These men were born and raised here. They are as much Americans as you or I are Americans.

I wish people would read your post and be aware of this.
It's another instance in how Islam will use our freedoms against us. ie freedom of Religion.
If they start to close down Mosques in America, they will have to close down all places of worship.
I think we need to export every Muslim out of America for our national defense.

All three former Islamic terrorists will tell you in first-person accounts about :
1. The Islamic terrorist plans, goals and recruitments of rank and file Muslims here in America, as well as around the world to engage in a continuing jihad against our way of life and the imposition of Islamic rule upon us all.
2. How we need to wage war on Islamic terrorism in the same manner as we did Nazi Germany; how our current level of retaliation is insufficient; their view that President George Bush is "not aggressive enough" in pursuing the current global War on Terror.
3. How all Islamic infrastructure including Islamic centers and mosques in America are actively involved in the cultivation of American-born Muslims to become jihadists of the Fallujah variety; how the majority of Muslim's -- "60 to 75%" of the Muslim population support the terrorist agenda and are responsible for collecting and sending miliions upon millions of dollars to support the terrorist war effort against us.
4. How there is "no question about it" that Islam is engaged in a war against us, that this is an integral part of the Islamic culture both here in America and the Muslim world as a whole.
All Three men will tell you that the vast majorty of American's are oblivious to these facts and we all need to wake up to the reality of the war being waged against us in our own backyards.
