John 1:1-2 King James Version (KJV)

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.

John 1:1-2 Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God;
2 this one was in the beginning with God;

These are my thoughts.

The Word was from the beginning it is thru the Word we are saved because the Word would die for us for this reason.
