And what a blessed and glorious day that will be! No, not day, eternity!

Amen,

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

"God loves you just the way you are, but He refuses to leave you that way. He wants you to be just like Jesus. "

Some evangelists tell their audience, “God loves you, come to Him just as you are.”

The word love in Rev 3:19 is phileo , which means to have a personal relationship. Does God phileo love everyone? No. He loves those who are His elect and He reproves and disciplines them as the voice of His word penetrates their heart and they open the door to a deeper intimate relationship with Him. The wicked do not hear His word because they have no spiritual discernment and are unmoved by His warning, therefore, the wrath of God abides upon them.

The church in Laodicea was lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold. That is, they were comfortable with what they had achieved. Christ wished them to receive either a cooling or a roasting, to irritate them and cause them to realize that He will not tolerate their condition in their comfort zone without a personal relationship with Him. Because they were lukewarm He said He would spew them out of His mouth, that is, they were making Him sick because they were comfortable without being challenged by His word. Once spewed out there is no further communication and they may have to spend some time in the pig-pen until they become sick of it. They will then be compelled to spit out and realise their desperate condition. Christ said to them, “be zealous and repent.” When those He loves think they are getting along fine without Him, it will have disasters consequences and they will smart under His rod, but His two sheep dogs, goodness and mercy always guard them. The wicked never receive any correction because he does not love them and the wrath of God abides upon them. Christians should never ignore divine warnings. They should seek cleansing through the word.
Psalm 119:9 (ESV) BETH 9 How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word.

The Greek word translated love in Mark 10:21 is agapao , which means to have affection for. Does God have agapao affection for everyone? Yes. We should have affection for the lost by pointing out the obstacles that block the way to eternal life as Jesus did. Those who have not accepted Christ as their Lord and Saviour should not be told, “God loves you just as you are.” Instead, they should be told how vile they are in His sight, and that God cannot love them as they are. If they feel deep conviction it is a good sign that they are elect and they will repent and trust Christ. Telling them God loves them and to come to Him just as they are, produces false conversions, because they are conversions that require no repentance.
