Hello,
Sorry it has taken me so long to respond.
You know I have noticed that you have a hard time letting go of stuff. I used to be like you. To be honest it is going to take you to make the decision.
When you decide to stop looking for that dramatic feeling of change, when you stop looking for the sign and follow god with all your heart then God will show you the signs you need.
you said I would tell Him to stay with me until it finally sinks in.
He is allways with you. It is you who decides to listen.

man if God were to tell me to stop sinning, i would have to tell Him
"ok, but you know me. This same feeling i get whenever i'm warned or told to straighten up." I've never been able to do it. Or was it i never wanted to do it?? This bothers me.
What can make me WANT to Obey, FINALLY?!!?!? After these long years.
I would tell Him to stay with me until it finally sinks in.
I do know that i am the one who chooses to cuss and look at porn. But EVEN WHEN I RESIST PORN for a LONG period of time, i'm still not close to God and i'm still not happy.
I just don't understand why there was not a dramatic experience when i was Born Again.
see i don't even know exactly when it happened but i know where i am now.
This month will be my 2nd Year Anniversary of being a Christian.
It all started this month two years ago but it's never been fruitful, EVER. And i've gone through darker times since then than before conversion.
I gotta worry about what to do outta highschool now. And that's tough, it's even TOUGHER because I don't have God giving me guidance about it.
The Airforce is a possibility and i might just do it. But think about it, a Backslidden Christian who has NO direction from God trying to do something like this is a disaster.
I know what it has, all these financial benefits, comfortable living, blah blah blah BUT the money, even my Girlfriend only gives me so much, God SHOULD be the thing that makes me happy.

Good Day to you J4Jesus,
It has been a long time since I last posted to one of your threads; for that reason I am not sure if you will remember me or not.
The analogy I like best to make concerning how God treats us as Christians is this:
What would you do to your children?
Most rational people in the world would never willingly hurt their child if they did not have to.
More to the point, I would like to ask you if you had children would you kill them if they were bad? I would be more than willing to bet that you wouldn’t. You would love them and keep trying to help them in hopes that they will do better.
I am not sure I fully understand what you meant by “would these Christians be the 5 foolish virgins and be outside the gate at the end?” So I will not comment on that one. Please give scripture reference so I can go and read it and tell you what that means.
J4Jesus I feel God leading me to tell you that you need to set aside the abuse you have suffered in your life and realize that God was not the one abusing you but it was Sin that caused the abuse. You have the choice to walk away from the sin and fully join God in complete Faith and live happy.
