Hi, PetriFB. Hello, Finland. You said:

“Power of the flesh and selfish men and those who are full of their own carnal power can’t have anointment of God and no blessings of God, as we know this truth through life of Saul.”

Eden here:

Many Christians and of course ALL non-Christians still have not “to stop thinking on his own” and a true Christian realizes that YHWH and the Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit are MUCH SMARTER than he or she is so the person makes the decision to “stop doing our own thinking”:

Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Proverbs 3:4-6 (in Context) Proverbs 3 (Whole Chapter) Hosea 13:2
And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, and idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.

Eden here:

Hahahaha, kiss the calves, what a joke, that’s the best the craftsmen of this world can do, IF they continue to “do their own thinking”.

But IF a Christian realizes (and that is a big IF judging from how many carnal Christians there are now, just as in Paul’s day), but IF a Christian INSTEAD starts to LISTEN TO THE ADVICE COMING DOWN from heaven from the Lord Jesus by way of wireless Holy Spirit about WHAT I should DO NEXT, such a Christian will start to bear fruit.

But three-fourth of the people in the world will continue to do their own soul thinking and soul decision-making, without any input from Jesus via the Holy Spirit, and they therefore do not and CANNOT produce any fruit, because this fruit ONLY comes down from heaven from Jesus by the wireless Holy Spirit. I can only be acquire by LISTENING.

And nobody will listen unless they first realize that God can SEE THINGS MUCH BETTER THAN I CAN and therefore God can give me SUPERIOR ANSWERS than I can generate, so I WOULD BE A FOOL if I did not NOT USE GOD for my DIRECTIONS; only prideful men and idiots keep “leaning on their own understanding” and “kissing the calves.”

To get back on Topic, PetriFB said:

“Power of the flesh and selfish men and those who are full of their own carnal power can’t have anointment of God and no blessings of God, as we know this truth through life of Saul.”

Those who have “ears to hear what the Spirit says to the church” will bear fruit unto righteousness. But according to the parable of the sower the people who “have ears to hear” will be ONLY ONE-FOURTH
of the earth’s population will end up with “ears to hear”. We can rant and rail, woe is me, about the other three-fourth but:

2. Luke 10:20
Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject to you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

with love,
Eden

Aaron really had to die to his flesh, because he was always more or less in Moses' shadow. In the beginning of God's call, Moses couldn't function without Aaron's speaking skills. However, Moses received all of the accolades for the Israelites' exit from Egypt.

Exodus 4:10 And Moses said unto the LORD, O my LORD, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.

11And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?

12Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.

13And he said, O my LORD, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send.

14And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart.

15And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.

16And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God.

17And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs.

I see Aaron as another example of faith and obedience.

Num 16:42 And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared.
43 And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation.
44 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
45 Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces
46 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun.
47 And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people.
48 And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.
49 Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah.
50 And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the plague was stayed.

In order for Aaron to be successful in staying the plague, he needed to be close to his master Moses. He needed to hear his master. He needed to recognise whose voice he was hearing and then he needed to have faith in what his master said. He didn’t need to let his flesh get in the way either. He could have said it’s too dangerous to run into the midst of a murmuring congregation that was against him. He did what his master commanded even though it was a humbling experience.

We can have victory by following Aaron's example in obedience to our master Jesus Christ, who can use us to stay the plague of sin through our witness for Him.

Petri, you gave us a great teaching of the dangers of a religious spirit, but I also see another great lesson in this story. It is one of the most powerful examples of unmovable faith in the Bible.

David stood before the giant,(the devil) stripped of everything, with nothing left but his total faith in the dependance of God's power and strength.

That shows me that we can stand before the devil, totally weakened and humbled, and have complete authority, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to knock down his every stronghold, plus cut off his head as a gesture to show how complete his total annihilation can be in our lives - never to rise again.

1 Sam. 17:45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

46This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

47And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD's, and he will give you into our hands.

We see later that David continued to be rewarded for his unmovable faith.
1 Sam. 18: 14 David continued to succeed in everything he did, for the Lord was with him.

Amen ... may GBU ....amen

Power of the flesh and selfish men and those who are full of their own carnal power can’t have anointment of God and no blessings of God, as we know this truth through life of Saul.

Because David was a little and small man, humble and weak anointment of God and His blessing rest above David. As David made sin, so he also always made repent of those sins in his life. The own men of David have said; that David is fond more, those who hate David as those who loved David. David loved Saul as love of God, although Saul intended to kill him. David loved God and word of God. David trusted more God’s power as on his own power. All these features made David such kind of man whose mind was pleasing God. God calls also you to follow an example of David's life. Love and fear God and anger sinful things, but love sinner, so then you are also pleasing God. This is desire of God for us. Do you allow God’s loving and truthful Spirit, through word of God make you a man who is pleasing loving God?
