Hi - I'm Lar,

I have an interest in a musical instrument called the "penny whistle" (a tubular-shaped instrument with a whistle-type mouthpiece on one end and six holes in the body of it), While I was surfing the Web - looking for penny whistle websites, I came upon a website that interested me. It was (is) run by an excellent penny whistle and flute musician named "M".

I started corresponding with "M", and I found out that he is an Atheist. He is very polite and friendly - a real gentleman, but he doesn't believe in God or in the Bible. Please pray for his salvation, OK? Thanks a lot!

Sorry Lar, just saw this. Will pray that God will give you the knowledge of what to speak and convict "M" of their sins.

Hi Betty Louise,

I just stopped in and saw your post here. Thank you very much for your prayers regarding me and my Atheist acquaintance "M". Logically speaking, it's very difficult to convince "M" of his sin and of his need for salvation. I *have* been trying to rely on the Word of God to speak for me, but "M" (sad to say) feels that the Bible is just religious fables. He's from a country where there are a lot of Atheists, and over there, they think it's "the norm."

However, "M" is very dedicated to his wife and to his aged mother, and it's obvious (to me) that he loves them both dearly. Plus, he's a real gentleman - very considerate and very well-mannered. He also highly values being *real* with people (and I highly value this quality too). I told him my own Christian testimony, but he feels that it is too subjective, and not logical and/or empirical enough to "sway him" to believe.

I realize that only God will be able to open "M's" heart to the truth - and, (as I've told him in my Christian testimony), the truth is Jesus Christ! But thanks again Betty Louise... I believe that God hears prayers that are in accordance with His will. (see: 1 Tim. 2:3-4)
