Hi, I'm new to this board. It looks like a good board. I was saved in 1971. I am a mom, grandma, sister, wife, friend, bible student, and Zionist(one who believes that Israel is God's chosen people and belongs in the land that God appointed them in Genesis).
I enjoy fellowship, praying, and decorating my house.
As a child I twirled baton, took tap dancing lessons, and learned to sew and crochet.
Now I am a squatty granny and I like it.

Ive been following Jesus for 10 years now, I believe the Evangelical church in America is in serious need of reform, Im married 9 years with 2 children, I played football and Beseball when I was a kid, my interests are Jesus, my family, sports and reading

I look forward to getting to know you all.

Welcome freaknpv, and may you be a blessing and may you be blessed in your sojourn in the forum. I agree that we need a reformation. We must encourage others to seek ye first the KIngdom of God and His righteousness. As Wesley stood up so long ago in the heart of Anglicanism and declared the need for righteousness, the same is needed today. Where is the reverential awe of Almighty God within the Body today?

God bless.

Greetings to all!

I'm another new member and looking forward to any time I can spend on this board. I grew up "Christian", but was "re-born" 16 years ago. I've been married 17 years and have 7 children, ranging in age from 6 months to 16 years old, and we live in a rural part of Michigan, roughly 90 miles north of Detroit. I currently teach Sunday School to 11th and 12th graders, and I love being involved with my kids' activities (school, sports, etc.). The most important mission that I believe I have is to raise my children to know and love the Lord Jesus Christ, and do this through my actions (which need a lot of work everyday), and study of the Word, both individually and as a family. We're warned that many will fall away and chase after false doctrines, so preparing their young minds for action, to stand firm against the "prowling lion", is eternally important.

Once again, greetings to you all!

Hey everyone, I am new on the block, so I thought I would drop in and say a big "hello" to everyone on the forum.

Welcome live2worship. You are very talented!

I took piano lessons for years as a kid, but have lost it all. I am hopeless when it comes to playing by ear.

My mother was very talented though. She played the organ in church for many years and also played the accordian.

Hello, I'm Laurye and I'm also new here. I was raised a catholic, but got frustrated as a teen and gave up on religion. A couple of months ago, I started getting back into christianity. I am trying to find the right church for me, and I have started praying again. I have even started reading the bible.

Just popping in here to say "Hello". Looks like you have a lot of interesting topics and people here. SoftTouch invited me and I look forward to posting here. I was raised Missouri Synod Lutheran, but now claim no denomination and am not a member at any church as of right now. I've been pretty unhappy with the things I see happening in churches today. But I look forward to good fellowship here.

Peace,
Diane

Hi Diane: Welcome to the board. We are neighbors. I am in South Dakota. My early adulthood years were spent in a Missouri Synod Lutheran Church. I lived through the turmoil in the Lutheran churches in the late 70' and early 80's and and was thankful at the time to have been Missouri Synod. I was very devestating to our family members who were not. Our family on both sides remains today in the ELCA.

Like you, today I claim no denominational affiliation. We actually worship and fellowship in two churches, one is a Southern Baptist and the other an Evangelical Free Church. But we are Christians - not Baptists, or any other thing. Just Christians. I long for a homechurch or a small group of believers to fellowship with. I personally see that HIS church has got to move out of the denominations.

Ps: I absolutely love your screen name!

I'm with you about today's church. We
are so splintered. We get separated by
such petty things. I'm new and I've put
my introduction in the "New" section.
But I couldn't help but respond to this
It is so sad we let the little differences
become huge conflicts.

Hi, my name is Dondi. Not just a screen name either. I'm 36, been saved since I was 7. Married with one child. My main purpose that has been laid on my heart is to help those in a cult or cult like atmosphere get out of that and back to Christ. I am looking for any and all suggestions on this. The Lord has led me to this ministry and we all know you do not tell the Lord no when He asks you to do something for Him.

Posted by TEXASGRANDMA (Member # 847) on :

Dodi,
The ministry you are undertaking is a nobel cause, but be prepared for battle. As my Preacher told us in Texas, don't ingauge in battle with a cult member unless you have spent time in prayer and learning the Word. These people often know the Bible better than most Christians. If you do not have on the full armor of God, these people will tear you to shreds. I say this not to change your mind, because it is a nobel cause, but you should prepare yourself through studying the Word of God, and fasting and prayer.
God bless you, Sister.

Hello , This is my first post.
I am 70 years old ! Was not saved till about the
age of 50 along with my husband !
We were unsaved Catholic's.... The church we went to did not use the bible, did not tell us to use the bible, and at that time in life we were not supposed to hang with any one but Catholic people.
They have come a long way since then, but I just cant forget not being saved all those years..
Our children were the first to be saved . They were not afraid to look around ! yeaaaa ....

Hello to all my Brothers and Sisters in Christ. I am very glad to have found this board. My name Christian Warrior comes from different MB on the web. This MB is one that seems to be full of allot of Atheists and Agnostics. I developed my name from establishing my belief in Christ and set out to evangelize and shine the light of Jesus on some lost souls. It has been an exhaustiong experience fighting this long upward battle. I can say out of the past 8 monhs of being a regular poster on that board, i have received and responded to 5 PM's that were asking me how to find a relationship with Christ. So it has always been encouraging, But like I said also exhausting. SO I am very happy to find this board. I hope to plant deep roots here and develope Christian Community with my Brothers and Sisters in Christ. [thumbsup2]

I'm new here.

Just call me Z. I'm a 30 yo lady? woman? I never know what to call myself, I still have a hard time believing that 30 years have already flown by.

Anyway, I'm from the Great Plains of the USA where I live with my dog in a house of guys 10 years younger than I. They're great friends who took us in when I had a tough blow to my life situation and they've graciously invited me here to help me get back on my feet. [Smile]

I've always been a Christian, in that I went to Church and Sunday School as a child, but it's only been within the past three months that I've really come close to God. Recently, I found a wonderful, Bible driven Church that I love and attend twice a week. I'm starving to the Lord's Word and desperate to do His Will.

This looks like a nice place to learn and grow in Christ. I look forward to getting to know ya'll.

Hey, I am senior in High, raised in a christian home for basicly my whole life, although half my family is Jewish. I am currently interning at my church in the youth ministry under the worship/tech leader. Learning a ton through the experience, not only about sound, but about my peers, myself, and God. Some of what I am learning hurts to learn, but it is all worth it when looked at compared to the big picture.

Hello All!

I signed up a few days ago and just been lurking to read the posts. It seems you have an interesting mix of people here. I live in Wisconsin, and am a 43 yr old unemployed computer technician (hopefully not too much longer). I am married and have 3 kids, one grown and 2 still in the process. I was saved about 10 years ago, but backslid up until 2 1/2 years ago, and now I can't ever believe I did that! We go to a great church that is very supportive of all. I like to try my hand at web page building, and working with computer graphic programs.

Hi There,or Hellooooo as I say on Gumbo Ya Ya, thats the other online board where I frequently am[as Wolfnbear]!

I am so very glad to find a Christian board! I can really use the fellowship.Right now my husband is pastoring one church and is interuming at a second church. We've both been fighting Respiritory flu,and I am home recovering.

We were w/o regular work for six months and my husband recently started working at the State Hospital Adolescent unit here. He is a case Manager. He now has three jobs if you count the two churches.

I am a 'SAHM 'to two furrypeople, well four if ya count our outdoor kitty cats. The other two are dogs but they are sure that they are human LOL!

Altho' not real good at it,I like to paint pics',which I haven't done in awhile. its just acrylics but its fun when I am able to play at it.

My husband is going thru trying to get meds straight after Thyroidectomy in Dec.of 03,and I fight CFIDS/FMS. We are supposed to be Wellness Consultants but haven't been able to do much w/ our business of late! Our health issues and our Heavenly Fathers business tend to keep us quite busy!

I love lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wolves, bears, and puppy dogs,Kitties too. One of our Dogs is part wolf, and our two cats are part bobcat or linx[unsure which] they are all rescued critters, and give us much fun and some interesting times.

Ministry to some online friends who are Pagan, is an important factor for me and for my husband. Thank goodness there are some Christian folk on the other line we visit, which helps. Someone here said dont' approach cultists w/o first being prayerd up...I'll add a hearty Amen to that!

I'll come and chat some more later, have to get my day going before nightfall hits and get ready for my sweety to come home this evening. Our churches are an hour away, its been snowing and my honey stayed at the parsonage lastnight as a safety precaution. Early a.m driving in the hills isn't real safe here during snow storms.

My spelling is atrociuos, but I'm sure glad y'all are here..better close for now before this turns into a mini-novel!

I've posted on this BBS a few times, but I don't think I've ever gone through the process of introducing myself.

I live in foggy and wet Central California. I'm married with no children. My wife Sharon and I, are lovers of country livin'. We really don't like living in town any longer. We moved out where we live now from the Bay Area, and other than fog in the winter and thick smog in the summer, haven't missed the rat race.

We are both praying about Gods guidance to move to the Black Hills. Helpforhomeschoolers has been in contact with us concerning the ups and downs of the area. We both love the mountains, friendly people, CLEAN AIR, CLEAN HIGHWAYS, and the four seasons that this move will allow us to enjoy.

Other than that...HOWDY FROM...California!

Thank You His Grace! My wife is from S.D., and I fell in love with the Black Hills when we went there on vacation! It's a BEAUTIFUL area, and the people are friendly. This is unusual to us being in Calfornia! Please lift us up to Him in prayer concerning this relocation effort. I posted a Prayer Request concerning this. Thanks again, and God Bless you during this new year!

Funny many 'Snowbirds', as they call them, from Canada, move down South for the winter to get away from the four seasons. Many have winter homes in Florida because it is only a 3 1/2 hr.flight.

For us ladies, the four seasons is a good excuse to expand our wardrobe. [thumbsup2]

My brother and sister-in-law from Minneapolis moved to Florida to "get away" from the ONE season...WINTER! They got tired of snow, ice, and cold for months on end.

I must admit, I've been to Minneapolis in December and it's VERY cold there. My first trip there was at Xmas time, and the high temp of the day was -3. It was an eye-opening experience for me! I lived in Carson City, Nevada when I was a child, and I remember the winters were cold there also...but NOTHING like Minnesota winters! CCCCCCOLD!

I've also lived in the southern states, and I don't like the humidity at all. I'd rather deal with a wee bit of cold than the muggy miserable humidity!

How cold is it where you're located?

I live in Ottawa, Ont and the coldest it has gotten so far is -17c, which is around 1 f.With the windchill factor it can feel colder than that, because this region is quite humid also. I think last year once or twice it went to around -30c, which is around -22 f.
The whole winter isn't usually that cold though.

Our summers can get very hot and humid, because the city is situated in a valley.

Hello everyone...My name is Dave and I am new here. I used to follow the LBH message boards before they closed down or you had to pay for them or whatever. I have been away from online messaging since but think I am glad to be back. I am a Christian. I have a wife and 2 boys. I am employed as a school social worker. I am 35 years old. Like others I often find myself not strong in my faith and feeling lost/empty. It seems every time I get closer to God something happens to push me away. I am still a member of the church I was raised, and abused in. I don't believe it to be a spirit filled church. I desperatly want to find a Christian family to be part of but don't know where to look - or am frightened to look. I just remember the great fellowship and talk when I was involved in the other message board and need that aspect back in my life too. Please pray that I find what I am looking for and need. Dave.

Hi all

Sorry I didn't see this bit when I first joined, otherwise I would have posted an introduction.

I'm Andy from London - I'm married and live with my wife in the suburbs in the North West of the city. We're members of an Anglican church, St Mary's. If you're ever in London, it's worth a visit - It's perched on what I think is the highest spot in the capital and was first built in 1094, although there is not much left of the original church thanks to the Henry VIII and the reformation.

I follow politics (here in the UK and abroad) quite a lot so you may see a few postings regarding the application of Christianity to different political issues - just tell me to shut up if it gets boring [Smile]

Greetings Andy/ahar,

Good to have you with us. I do have a question for you since you live in London.

I have a hard back bible with the inscription on the front that says "Sold Under Cost Price" and underneath that it says "British and Foreign Bible Society" and underneath that it says "Tenpence'. Its a small book about 6x4 inches.

On the first page inside it has the name written by the owner "Meary Elieseboth Cartwright" Born April 19, 1866.

I used to manage an apartment complex here in TN years ago and found this bible on top of some dirty magazines that the teneant left on the floor. Of course I kept the bible and the tenent never left a fowarding address.

Is this Bible society still in exsistence over there in London? Just curious. Thanks

Indeed, the Bible Society is over 200 years old and still printing and translating the bible in different languages. The website is www.biblesociety.org.uk. On the first couple of pages, it should have the name of the translation - is it the King James edition?

Posted by yahsway (Member # 3738) on :

Yes ahar, it is. The first page reads-

Translated out of the original tongues: and with the former translations diligently compared and revised, By his Majesty's special command.

and at the bottom of the first page-

OXFORD: Printed at the University Press, for the British and Foreign Bible Society Instituted in London in the year 1804; And sold to subscribers at the Society's House, Earl Street, Blackfriars, London.

Tenpence in 'old money' (we changed currency systems in 1977) is around 4 pence in current money or 6 US cents. It would have probably been around 1/4 to 1/2 of a days wages in 1866!

The King James translation was comissioned by James I around 1611 with the aim to try and get a decent understandable English translation direct from the originla Hebrew and Attick Greek. It was the predominant English translation used in Bibles in the UK and around the world for several hundred years, but the language is a little old if you read it!

Hi!

I joined this site a few days ago,but this is the first time I have gotten around to posting anything. I am a 63 year old grandfather, living with my wife in Farmington, Missouri, about an hour's drive south of St. Louis. I am non-denominational by persuasion, but having been unable to find such a church since I moved here four years ago I recently joined an independent baptist church.

Those who have stated that they are looking for churches might be interested in my website, where I present a study of the new Testament's specific instructions for organizing and operation churches. You can check it out at http://www.holy-word.org

Since I retired sic years ago I have been occupied mainly with writing about the Bible.

Greeting from Japan. I am a member of Koishikawa Hakusan Church in Tokyo(http://homepage1.nifty.com/hakusanch/index-english.htm) for 8 years.

I am interested in exchanging information about the church life with churches in foreign countries. You know, the faith is fundamentally universal but may be affected by local culture to some extent.

Hope to have friendships with many people here.

I'm new here too, but after the reception I received from one of the other members, I'm seriously having second thoughts about staying on this board. It seemed like this person considered my rededication to God suspect because I happened to come to it by way of someone who this person considers to be a so-called "false prophet". Someone else is going to have to do some pretty fancy talkin' to convince me to stay on here, because I don't appreciate my faith being attacked like that.

Hi all [Smile] ,

Thank you all for your greetings and information. I am blessed.

I am new here and I share the same passion as all of you in wanting to get the truth of the Gospel out.

I was involved with a Sharing my Faith ministry at my church where I learned a simple way to present the Gospel. I now serve with the altar call ministry team.

Who knows, a non-christian may view this site and the infomation we all provide may be a blessing to him/her leading them to salvation and a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Just to let you all know a little about my background...

I was baptized and brought up in the Catholic church and I can tell you that I never read the bible and I always believed that if you were not Catholic, you were not going to heaven.
I left the Catholic church at age 40 because I felt a void in my heart, something was missing.
I didn't get the feeling I belonged there.

Two years later I found out it wasn't what I was missing, rather who I was missing.

I now believe in order for you to know that you are saved and will go to heaven when you die, does not depend on what religion you are, but whether or not you have a true "heart to heart" relationship with God and have accepted His wonderful gift of love for you.

So what changed my mind??

The simple truth of the Gospel, which means the good news, changed my mind.

With prayer and hope it will be a blessing to you, I like to share with you the gospel presentation the way I learned it.

Look for my post under "Christian Evangelism".

Here are two of my favorite web pages I am sure will bless you.

I was questioned yesterday as to why I use the name Chewy on this site rather than my given name. The fact of the matter is that an equal number of people know me as Chewy as those who know me by... Richard Hawkins. I recently signed on because our church [Fountain of Life Bible Church is using this board for questions and answers during our "One year thru thru the Bible" campaign. Our Minister of Education asked me to help with the fielding of questions. I have since found that roaming through the forums herein present many opportunities to learn as well as share teachings.

Im David. I am in Houston, Texas. I was saved in 1966. I always believed in God and knew Jesus came in the flesh to save me from my own sinful self but never much acted like it. In 1995 my life fell apart and through a series of events, in 1998, was blessed with a ministry that provided sermons, studies, prayer, fellowship and someone to listen to anyone with a problem and try and guide them scripturally in what to do.

After 4 years of this I decided I needed a social life so in 2002, I set out to enjoy some social events. A couple of years passed and I looked back. Everything I had gained (peace and joy) was again gone. Since then I have searched to find my way back and even came close a couple of times.

I hope that this board will help me in finding my way back once again. The last time God brought healing to me through the ability to minister to others in need and me in turn allowing his guidance in all aspects of my life. I have hopes the same will happen again.

The home page listed in my profile has some of what God gave to me to share with others over that 4 year period. Those words helped many. I pray they can be used by anyone that still sees them.

Welcome David of Houston. Have you read your own website lately? There's some good stuff there. If it has helped others, perhaps it could help you. You know God loves you. Focus on him and his love. I'll pray for you. We all have our down moments, but he is always faithful to lift us up.

Posted by padre (Member # 7102) on :

Yes Esther, I know them all by heart. It's kinda like that old saying that goes something like taking your own pill is hard. Although it isn't actually "my" pill it feels like it. That is one of the things that is making this so hard, I know what God wants of me and I know His plan is best but...

I ask what I did wrong so I will never do it again, and hear nothing.

I beg to know what it is I am doing so I can stop it. No reply is heard.

I pray for understanding concerning this and nothing.

I asked for acceptance of the situation and my heart still hurts bad.

This is the point I am at and have felt near to giving totally up more than once but deep inside I know that God just has to have a good plan here. It isn't for me to understand now but it sure is hard to keep my nose out of trouble now that I am feeling so far away from Him.

Posted by ECM (Member # 7097) on :

Maybe you didn't do anything wrong. Satan is relentless in his attacks on the minds of God's children and trying to trick them into walking by feelings rather than faith. Maybe focusing more on what you do know and understand about God and your relationship with him and offering up prayers of praise and thanksgiving will help sort things out.

Esther

I know you must be right. The last few days have been pretty good but returning to a good and consistent prayer life would probably do wonders.

I joined recently and was hoping for some interaction in discussing faith issues. I'm particularly interested in the conversion process of others. It helps me in my own faith to see/read/hear of others' conversions. I'd also like critiques of stuff I think/say/write from believers, so as to better enable me to accurately argue ina layman's apologetics manner. I'm 48 and have been a Christian since my mid-teens. I've experienced a crisis of faith here & there, but have come back.
I would love to have an ongoing discussion on a number of Christian topics. Please, engage me!

Hi everyone,

My name is Jessi and you can probably guess where I'm from. I just made the decision(though not a hard one) to leave the LDS(mormon) church. I was a member there for about 5 years only because I married a Mormon. Even so, my experience there has left me a little broken up and I would like to get my personal relationship with our Lord and Savior back. Anyone who has tried to leave/left knows what I'm going through right now. I would much like to meet Christians who know/remember what a true relationship with God feels like.

Anyhow, I'm 22(23 next month) y/o and my husband is 25. We are expecting our first child in Feb. This is a big deal for us not only because it's our first child but because I had previously believed I was unable to have children. So, what a blessing that is! [Big Grin]

New to the site, just looking for the same as everyone else...fellowship with like-minded people. I too am not affiliated with any one church or religion. I believe that Jesus is the son of God and was sent to die on the cross to save us (ALL PEOPLE) from sin.
That out of the way, I'm a Canadian, I'm a woman, I'm a Mother, Daughter, Sister, Friend and Follower of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The most spiritually fulfilling thing I've been involved with lately is ladies bible study every Wednesday morning. God's Glory is easy to see when 2 or more (more is better) people

As I was saying God's Glory is easy to see when 2 or more people pray together. Anything is possible through Christ!
Dodi...please be careful! ~The lord be with you~ As Betty has said these people are very educated. As mislead as they may seem to us, they firmly believe in whatever they preach and do and they also firmly believe that they do and live for God.
Don't go it alone.
One last little note...I have posted a story in the section of Praise Reports and Testimonies. Just looking for some feedback if you get a chance, thanks
Keep seeking, and ye shall find.

Please do not take this wrong, but are you a Christian? I mean is that while we can be raised in a Christian home (I was too), we have to accept Jesus as our Savior, ourselves. Our parents can not pass on salvation like genes. Like I heard a Preacher say, God has no grandchildren, only children.

Welcome to the board.

Hi Bola [wave3]

Welcome! Welcome to the Christian BBS!

Hello my name is Luc.
I am a Christian and have been for, [Confused] hmmm I'm not quite sure. I was raised catholic, was given my first Bible when I had my first communion. When I started reading that Bible that is when my life started to change. I publicly proclaimed my faith in Christ with my wife in 2003 when we got baptised in a Baptist church but the Holy Spirit has been with me long before that. I am not a teacher, philosopher or a scholar, but I love to read the Bible. The only thing I find confusing about the Bible is the many interpretations there are for it. I pray that one of these days all Christians would be on the same page when it comes to what God is trying to teach use through scriptures.
Have a good and blessed day?

Posted by Eduardo Grequi (Member # 3984) on :

I pray the Lord will teach you and impress in you to search the scriptures daily Do not be ready to trust all speakers but compare what you hear to the scriptures. If anyone add or take away from the word, you know then what to believe and that is the scripture. Sola scriptura!

Jacqueline [wave3]

Hope you will feel at home....I have a 34 year old daughter named Jacqueline, we call her Jackie....she was healed of cancer of the kidneys when she was 17 month old (medical term Whelms Tumor)

what you believe may be challenged here, but if they are it is because the people here take the scriptures very serious and the warnings Yahshua made Himself and the other writers through the Holy Spirit issued to those that would believe are not just suggestions but commands....

many on that day will hear depart from me you worker of inquiry, I do not know you.....those will all be people who thought they were saved....

how sad!

those that start the race and never finish receive no prize.....

endure to the end of your race and be saved!

Hello I joined just yesterday. I am excited to find this site!

First let me say I was saved and baptised many many years ago but on Friday I was born again and am now filled with the joy of Christs love for me in a new and exciting way! I was shown a revelation of God thru a bad experience and it tore the scales off my spirit eye and I now know how to live for the glory of God so I can have that perfect peace that surpasses all understanding that I prayed for so long.

I realized my sins were between me and my peace. I am a human being so I know I will sin but I also am going to work on improving myself daily thru prayer, bible study.

I,m 57 years young and am excited to post here and read all of your posts. Also if anyone needs private prayers I welcome the oportunity to do God's work.

Your Christian friend in Texas
Belinda daughter of the King of all Kings!

well - this looks like the thread to say "hi". What's up! I'm a computer geek so this isn't my first round about a message board but this is my first message HERE... so in that sense, please pardon my n00bness and any toes which I may step on.

let's see... a rapid introduction... I am:

* A friend of Christ Jesus

* Man

* 34 (almost)

* Father of two boys, age 5 and 7 one of which is a typ1 diabetic and the other of which is mildly autistic.

* Devoted Husband

* Foster dad (currently with a newborn baby and her 2.5-year-old brother in the house)

* Volunteer Youth Leader

* Computer geek/hacker

* A big goofy teddy bear guy

* A former Atheist - I have been a Christian now for only 5 years. I grew up as an Atheist in a home with Atheist parents... this was no college-age temporary rejection... this was my way of life completely. I'm on my knees every day - if he can save me, I KNOW God can do ANYTHING!

* I grew up in Boulder, Colorado USA and I live now in a suburb of Denver and work in Boulder.

So yeah... that's a bit of the surface. I'm an open book... you almost have to be in order to really get into it with teenagers... please feel free to ask anything.

Why am I here? I like people... and I like Christian fellowship... and I like to learn. I hope and expect for all 3 and more!

Hi, new here as well. I'm a 27-year-old male, but will be 28 in 4 days [happyhappy] Glad to have a site like this, as I recently relocated and now live too far away to make it to church on time. [Roll Eyes] I figured the best bet would be to get involved in something like this site soon, while I'm still pretty fragile spiritually. I've been saved for several years, but recently had a major fall from Him, so now getting back in.

I hope and pray that membership to this forum will get me to a higher level in the knowledge of JC our God and saviour. Hi all, and a special welcome here to the Christian bulletin board: to joseph gamez, and to eeniuq, and to Laina, and to Georgie_14 !! .. [Smile]

Georgie_14, I believe that the Lord Jesus will meet you where you're at now! The Lord is now closer to you than your next heartbeat, and He will *never* leave you nor forsake you! (Hebrews 13:5) I'll pray about your (new) salvation, and also, I'll pray for the salvation of your whole family.

Here are a couple of great Christian chat rooms that I belong to (my nickname is "Larry"):

http://www.christianchat.info/

http://www.christianchat.net/

(The second [the lower] one of these two chat rooms seems to have a lot of young people on it. And there *always* seems to be Christians there to talk to 24/7 !! Note: I find that I have to first click on "larger screen" when I get to the opening website page, and then I have to click on "Radio" [over to the top left hand side] in order to get into the second one of these two chat rooms. Best wishes to you!)

For anyone who might be interested: I've posted web links to two Christian Chat Rooms that I belong to - where you can chat with other Christians (and effectually fellowship with other Christians) in "real time." However, I should quickly point out here that these two Christian Chat Rooms are *not* "dating sites."

I posted web links to these two Christian Chat Room websites in the "Promote Something Christian" section of this bulletin board. My post there is called: "2 Christian Chat Rooms..."

May God richly bless you all!

*Special Note: I edited this particular post in order to remove the two website URL's that I had included on here (for 2 Christian Chat Rooms). I then posted a new post under the BBS topic: "Promote Something Christian" and I named my new post: "2 Christian Chat Rooms..."

I did this just in case my posting these two website URL's to the 2 Christian chat rooms on this particular BBS topic: "Praise Reports and Testimonies" might be considered as being "advertising." (I hope that what I have done here works out OK.)

May God bless you all, and thanks again for your prayers about the water pump situation at my house. We now have a new water pump, and my goodness - is it nice to have running water again!

Hello again all,

In my above post to this topic, I had written:

I did this just in case my posting these two website URL's to the 2 Christian chat rooms on this particular BBS topic: "Praise Reports and Testimonies" might be considered as being "advertising." (I hope that what I have done here works out OK.)

I need to make a correction to the above paragraph... Instead of "Praise Reports and Testimonies" I should have typed in "New Member Introductions".

Once again, a hearty *welcome* to all of the new members to this great Christian BBS.

Hi Danny,

Welcome to the board. I can’t help you with the chat room. I am too old for that. I can never keep up with it.

I am a new member and a mature Christian. I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I’m pretty much a shut-in and with the exception of family members, I get most of my socializing online.

For that reason I was excited to see this site, and I look forward to the opportunities it might provide.

Greetings and salutations! I'm not that new, been around awhile. (Someone asked if I had lived in town all my life -- I frowned, and said: "...not yet!")

I love to make people laugh; laughter is the best medicine. God surely has a great sense of humor, to put up with us!

So -- Adam was talking with the kids. "Dad? Why aren't we still in the Garden?"
Adam said with a backhanded wave, "Well, you know, your MOTHER ate us out of house and home..."
